Very touristy place like almost everything in Taromina, high prices and the food is good, nothing wow or spectacular and the staff is averagely unfriendly.

The service was excellent and the overall atmosphere very pleasant and welcoming. However the food was not authentic Italian since they make the carbonara with bacon instead of guanciale and heavy cream instead of egg yolk which means the recipes are very touristic. Pizza was nice but the dishes with past were not worthy.

Hey there. I was in a trip to Italy with a few friends, and we were looking for somewhere to eat in Taormina. We found Gambero Rosso and ate there. Service and atmosphere was genuinely amazing; I ate the swordfish, my friends ate oyster, pizza, and spaghetti. While everything, including the food, was a perfect experience with genuinely delectable foods, the prices were quite expensive, and the bill did come out a bit high. Otherwise, a perfect place to go. 4.5/5.

This restaurant offers great service and excellent food. A large selection on the menu and the food is exceptional. The Sicilian caponata is extremely tasty. The complementary bruschetta is a really nice touch.
