The place is very clean and well-maintained. Lunch here was truly a wonderful experience!
We had reserved by phone upon arrival; there were seats available on the ground floor, but we would have preferred the first floor for the view. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, seating us upstairs without any problems.
The view from the first floor is wonderful and makes the atmosphere even more pleasant. The seafood was incredibly fresh and of excellent quality!!

Passing by, we stopped for lunch. The place is meticulously maintained, with friendly staff. The menu features incredibly fresh seafood and generous portions! Kudos to Mario for his service and friendliness. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is famous for its seafood. Everything was very good. The atmosphere is dated, with a 1980s feel. I can't rate the value for money because I was a guest there. The beachfront location offers a lovely atmosphere, even in winter. My overall impression of the welcome wasn't the best: unfriendly, cold, and unprofessional. Service aside, it's still an excellent restaurant for seafood lovers.

Invited to a family lunch, a full seafood menu, everything perfect.
Warm welcome, impeccable service, and dishes served that were both visually and palatably delicious. We always gladly return for special occasions, and have always left feeling incredibly satisfied. And then there's the seafront, what can I say...everything was top-notch!!

The best fish restaurant in Italy from all points of view. My opinion is objective considering all the friends who have crossed the threshold of this restaurant.
My recommendations are:
1. Catalan salad with lobster
2. Pentolacia
3. Raw fish mix
4. Brodetto (fish soup with pumpkin)
5. Oysters
The quality price ratio is excellent!

Il Gabbiano is my go-to in Civitanova. Here, fish is treated with absolute respect: top-quality ingredients, clean flavors, and solid technique. The fresh pasta, rolled by hand in front of the customer, is a hallmark that few can afford.
Simply prepared dishes, precisely cooked, and crisp flavors, without ever overpowering the product. The wine list is thoughtfully crafted, and the service is managed by truly competent staff.
A restaurant that speaks the language of the sea with professionalism and authenticity. Definitely worth a try.
