Ristorante Fra Stefano In Peschici

We had a delightful dinner! The staff was friendly and the food was delicious.

This place was recommended to us, we trusted it, not at all crowded for an Easter Monday and without infamy or praise, there were two of us, with my partner we sat outside, slow service from the kitchen, unstable table outside in the alley, we ordered a tasting of raw meat for two (little selection) of which the sea urchins served without a teaspoon to help with the tasting and two first courses with octopus sauce and the other with stuffed cuttlefish sauce, ate it all because we are of the opinion that food should not be thrown away as long as it is edible, but really tasteless sauce, the fish only the presence but really tasteless and sauce among other things also undercooked. He gave the idea that it was a simple base of freshly made tomato sauce sautéed at the end of cooking with octopus frogs on one side and cuttlefish scraps on the other. The place is characteristic, the environment is quiet and the waitress at the tables is professional, good looking and attentive, but that's not enough, the cuisine needs to be improved a lot. Adequate price if we had eaten with taste and not out of appetite.

Storico locale molto carino, nel cuore di Peschici. Cucina eccellente, genuina, dove ritrovare i sapori di casa, la mia melanzana ripiena era buonissima! Personale gentile e professionale. Prezzi nella media.

I recently had lunch at this restaurant in the heart of Peschici. Tasty, quality dishes, courteous staff in service and choice of courses. A journey into Apulian flavors to do again!

Good food (the sea bass was even excellent). Decent and fast service. But the restaurant seems to lack dedication and soul.

We were in Peschici for a week and visited Fra Stefano almost every day (sometimes at lunchtime, sometimes in the evening, sometimes both)! Every dish on the menu really tasted wonderful. The two highlights were the fresh fish, which was recommended to us! Overall, it's a great team (you can notice the good atmosphere in the kitchen) and especially the waiter Elio served us well every time and took great care of our little son!

The fish was delicious and very fresh, also cooked light and tasty, best fish you remember eating!! If I return to Peschici I won't fail to have a nice meal with you! Well done!

Restaurant in the historic center of Peschici also open in winter. The place is a little dated and the menu is certainly touristy but there is no question about the quality and freshness of the fish. We chose an excellent oven-baked sea bass with olives, capers and cherry tomatoes, Peschiciana style. The wine list is limited and a little expensive but the white wine chosen at €26 was good.
