Restaurant in the historic center of Peschici also open in winter. The place is a little dated and the menu is certainly touristy but there is no question about the quality and freshness of the fish. We chose an excellent oven-baked sea bass with olives, capers and cherry tomatoes, Peschiciana style. The wine list is limited and a little expensive but the white wine chosen at €26 was good.

Two local people recommended this restaurant to us and we were right to listen to them. Nice place, good plentiful food, after the first one I was already full. We chose the seafood menu, they were kind enough to let us choose the first course and for the second course they offered us some poached octopus, as an octopus lover it was a nice surprise. The staff was super kind, listening, present without being intrusive. I strongly recommend the Frà Stefano restaurant :)

Excellent cuisine and very friendly staff in a beautiful old town atmosphere.
We had the Menu Pescatore and let the chef choose the dishes. Every course was a pleasure. I was particularly impressed by the fish main course (see picture below, unfortunately I don't know the name). The fish was tender and boneless and the olive sauce had an incredibly delicate Mediterranean aroma thanks to the fresh herbs.
We'll definitely be back.

We were 2 couples and we wanted to celebrate our evening in Puglia... Guided by the reviews, we chose to dine at Fra Stefano... an enchantment... the small street, the welcome, the very professional service and pleasant...and the delicious cuisine.. really a very good evening to end an unforgettable holiday in Puglia... We highly recommend..

Piatti molto saporiti presentati in modo semplice, pesce di ottima qualità, il polpo con datterini e la seppia ripiena erano speciali! Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Apprezzata l'attenzione verso i più piccoli, abbiamo un bimbo di un anno e mezzo. Da provare!
