Just a side street away from the harbor, and you're in an authentic Palau restaurant. The food wasn't the absolute best... it lacked a certain something. But it was still good. You should definitely make a reservation, as the place gets packed. Everyone really pitches in here... the cook and pizza maker bring the food and clear the tables. It was a lovely evening. The price-performance ratio is excellent. Another day, we had pizza, which was fantastic. We enjoyed it and can recommend it.

Excellent trattoria with plentiful food. Service is a bit slow but accurate. The atmosphere is dated but clean. The dishes are excellent. Three people manage everything, but perhaps help is needed in the summer. Excellent selection, though.

Quick dinner... I enjoyed the mussel and clam soup, which was amazing! A bit of a wait, but that was the only bearable inconvenience.

Price/value is fantastic. Staff is at age, but super agile and attentive, better than many young servers working in restaurants in Palau. Food came quickly to the table, affordable prices, everything's clean

02/05/2026: I live in La Maddalena, and on May 1st, my family and I went to the Assaggio restaurant, based on the excellent reviews on the website. We had lunch with a mix of mussels, first courses, and second courses. What can I say...SUPERLATIVE... You can smell the sea and taste the excellent quality of the ingredients. The place is very welcoming, spotlessly clean, and beautiful. The staff is very kind and friendly. Mrs. Lilli is very nice and kind. It was a fantastic discovery at the Assaggio restaurant. I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back. CONGRATULATIONS 💖
