"You can tell a good day from your order..." We arrived at 12:20, with a reservation, when the restaurant wasn't yet full. The dish we ordered was good and well-prepared, with no complaints about the quality. However, the service organization left a bit to be desired. Every request made to the waiters had to be met with the usual "yes, just a minute, the lady will arrive," resulting in a delay. The lady—who I presume was the owner and in charge of taking orders—seemed to be the sole decision-maker, creating inevitable delays. There was also a sense of resignation on the part of the waiters, who were often called directly by customers to place their orders, only to be promptly answered with the same phrase: "the lady will arrive." This made the service unsatisfactory and less efficient than one might expect. For two main courses, a glass of red wine each, and a coffee, the total cost was around €70. Overall, the dish was good, but the organization, timing, and value for money could definitely be improved. We're still waiting for our coffee, we're waiting for "the lady," we'll let you know... 😑

A traditional restaurant offering lake fish specialties, just a few meters from Arona's lakefront. The atmosphere and decor are rustic yet elegant, and the food is delicious and well-prepared. The flavor of lake fish may not be for everyone, but if you appreciate it, or are curious and just want to try it, this restaurant is for you. Recommended.

As soon as we entered, we loved the restaurant, with its rustic, vintage decor. At the end of the meal, we also loved the food, especially the fried lake fish. From the dining room, you can watch the chefs at work.

Interesting bar for a cocktail or gin. There were three couples. We all ordered gin and grappa, recommended by the young employee with glasses. Five stars for him, who explains everything with great passion.

The risotto was delicious. The staff was courteous, discreet, and professional. Everything was excellent.

Bar located under the arcades of Piazza del Popolo in Arona. We had an aperitif with glasses of wine, and they brought mini pizzas, olives, and various appetizers at no extra charge. Decent selection of wines by the glass. Fair prices for wines by the glass, but high prices for spritzes (€8).

Good location, overlooking the lake, on a fairly quiet street. Interesting appetizers are served outside (at tables in the square) along with generous platters of tapas. Dinner is available inside and under the loggia. Our experience with the food was disappointing: tasteless seafood appetizers, poorly cooked or low-quality fish (frozen and second-rate octopus, cuttlefish, and shrimp). The seasonings and flavors were dull, a shame. First courses: the seafood cuisine confirms its low quality... pasta with clams full of the grit typical of poorly prepared clams. The mussel soup was bland, and the mussels were not cleaned properly. The meat second course, seasoned with porcini mushrooms, was good. The menu is varied (but everything we tried was disappointing). The mandarin sorbet with Grandmarnier, recommended by the very kind waiter, was excellent. Quick service. It's a real shame considering the quality of the food. 3/5 stars overall, but the dishes are 2/5.

Restaurant and aperitif. Nice lakefront location in the center of Arona. Prices are average, and service is excellent, with many talented and attentive young people. A full 8, recommended.

My favorite restaurant in Arona, you can't go wrong with both fish and meat, or for an aperitif in the square.

We had delicious aperitifs and a great selection of snacks at a great price. Afterwards, we had a good meal for dinner.
