On a 4 day stay in Viareggio, we ate here (5 people) one evening without reading the Google reviews beforehand - the place we were going too was closed that day. I am glad it was as our experience here was fantastic. I had Spaghetti allo scoglio which was the best I had during our 12 days in Italy (Como, FIrenze visited) - loads of garlic, plenty of good sized mussels and clams and cooked perfectly. Tasted fab. The gnocchi with prawns dish was also really good I'm told. Place was really busy that day, loads of locals, and we had to wait to be served. Despite this, we didn't feel ignored or excluded; even as non Italian speakers as they did acknowledge us. We ordered (using our very limited Italian) and food arrived promptly. House wine was good and in total for 5, with drinks it was still under 100 euros. Highly recommended.

I have been to Stefano at least fifty times in many years, I have always eaten well, a satisfaction for the palate, excellent starters and lots of variety, FABULOUS and unique gnocchi in all of Versilia, good second courses, lemon sorbet at the end of the meal then a real and its own institution. The lady is an exceptional person, of unique kindness, Stefano a great chef even if he has also had bad luck in his career, Mario the legendary always faithful, or almost 😂

A slightly retro environment that is always nice to find in Viareggio🤍
The mixed seafood appetizer (we split one between 2) and the spaghetti with clams were delicious!

Very rustic trattoria, found by chance near the beach. Delicious food and very generous portions, excellent quality of fish, tasty and fresh. The waiter was very nice but at the same time very professional. I highly recommend this place also for the competitive prices.

Giornata discreta sole e nuvole. Prenotiamo il pranzo: tavolo piccolo disponibile in ambiente stretto, c'è gente, si sta troppo vicini agli altri commensali e non tutti gli effluvi di profumo ( o altro) sono graditi. Spaghetti allo scoglio abbondanti, ma non propriamente riusciti, il sapore non aggradava, mangiato di meglio. Invece l' orata alla griglia, nonostante qualche lisca di troppo, era ottima, buona l'insalata multisapori. Ottimo pure il dolce, la zuppa inglese rivista. Conto medionormal. Formalità in generale.

Cibo buono, ma antipasto scarso e costoso. Euro 14 per una cozza gratinata, poca insalata di mare, qualche alice marinata.
Spaghetti allo scoglio abbondanti e molto buoni.
Frittura di pesce una porzione scarsa.
Se tornassi l'antipasto e la frittura non li prenderei.
Ottimo il dessert Versilia
