Greeted by a sea breeze with the windows reflecting, it cheered us up for the evening... we were at this restaurant where the portions were à la "Bud Spencer & Terence Hill" in his best-selling book, called it Trinity... it made this last evening of this wonderful summer a perfect end to an August 2025... Compliments to the staff who treated us like VIPs, "Prince of Piedmont" style, made us feel like an upper-middle-class family... What can I say... I just have to thank everyone... "TO US!!!!"

Good food, especially pasta and seafood. It was a bit annoying that the neighboring tables weren't cleared for what felt like an eternity, so several half-full bottles of wine were left to mature there for 20 minutes.

A Taste of Italy Worth the Wait! 🇮🇹🍝🐟 We had a wonderful dinner at this charming Italian restaurant. The star of the night was definitely the pasta alle vongole—perfectly al dente, with a rich, garlicky sauce and the freshest clams. The fresh fish was also exceptional—beautifully cooked and bursting with flavor. While the service was a bit on the slow side, the quality of the food more than made up for it. This is the kind of place where good things come to those who wait. If you’re not in a rush and want to enjoy an authentic Italian meal made with care, this spot is absolutely worth a visit! Family-run restaurant for almost 50 years. We have been coming here for years every time we pass through Viareggio. Excellent quality, portions, kindness and prices. Highly recommended for first and second courses of fish (we have only tried these). Thanks to Omar and family

Pizza 55 a Pietrasanta

06/12/2025: During a trip to Tuscany, we stopped by chance at the Pizzeria "Pizza55" in Pietrasanta, and it turned out to be a delightful discovery. The place is small but very well-kept, with a welcoming and quiet atmosphere, ideal for a relaxing break after a stroll through the historic center. We were greeted and served by a truly kind and professional young man, attentive to detail and always smiling. The lady who ran the place was also incredibly sweet and hospitable, helping us feel immediately at ease. We ordered two excellent Pils, a Diavola and a Margherita with tuna, which proved light, digestible, and excellent in flavor. The well-leavened dough and quality ingredients really make the difference. In short, a simple but perfect experience. I absolutely recommend Pizzeria 55 to anyone in Pietrasanta who wants a good pizza served with kindness and care.
30/10/2025: Excellent pizzeria, with tasty pizzas (really good dough, Roman-style). Top-quality ingredients, and well-topped pizzas. The added bonus that makes this place even more enjoyable is the friendliness of the owner and staff! Thanks Michele for a lovely evening! And the desserts made by my aunt are delicious!! When we return to Pietrasanta, it will be a must-visit!! 😋
