Excellent seafood restaurant. We had mussels marinara, spaghetti Gaspare-style, and paccheri Sicilian-style. Everything was delicious! A little pricey, but excellent!

A historic restaurant in Milan, "Da Gaspare" is one of the city's long-standing seafood institutions. Renovated and brightened, it retains the elegant charm of tradition, but has lost some of its natural pace.
Friendly but brisk service: appetizers are all served at once in an "all-you-can-eat" atmosphere that takes the breath away. The fish is fresh, without a doubt, but with ups and downs—excellent carpaccio and scampi, tuna tartare too thick, octopus modest and decorated more to fill than to delight.
The millefeuille is good, but the tiramisu prepared in the dining room with custard instead of mascarpone is unforgivable: a heartbreak for those who love tradition.
The bill (€271 for two) is in line with the price range, but it leaves the feeling of a missed opportunity.
It's a refined restaurant, but this time—with regret—we didn't leave a tip.

I was looking for a restaurant serving raw seafood near my home and stumbled upon this recently opened restaurant, and I was honestly thrilled! First of all, the atmosphere: right on Via Ravizza, the atmosphere is intimate and not too chaotic. The service was excellent and meticulous, even specifying that they offered us two courses, so we were pleasantly surprised, and the person in the dining room was friendly and always attentive to us. I think it's a truly balanced menu: a variety of cooked appetizers and a balanced selection of raw seafood. Although, wanting to try more options (including cooked ones), in addition to the oysters, I ordered the trio of carpaccio, which isn't usually my first choice, and I'm glad I did because I found it tasty. Perhaps for the raw seafood, I'd suggest creating a raw seafood platter. We ordered the first course (spaghetti da Gaspare left a fond memory, a unique flavor, truly a novelty). The cacio e pepe ravioli were well-made.
The cost of all these courses (1 cooked appetizer consisting of 8 pieces, 6 oysters, carpaccio, focaccia, 2 first courses, water, a bottle of Franciacorta, and coffee sorbet) is medium/high, but honestly, I find it proportionate to the quality and therefore fair. If you don't order raw fish, the price is obviously average, especially considering it's in Milan. I had a great time there, so I'll be back!

The waiters are truly excellent, kind, and attentive. I went with my boyfriend and they treated us wonderfully, accommodating our every request with happiness and cheerfulness. You can tell the people who work there love their jobs. Fantastic food, minimal wait time, very fair price. Aside from getting food poisoning, I highly recommend it.

I chose this restaurant as it supposedly was good for seafood lovers. However I didn't enjoy the food as much as I anticipated. The service was super slow and the food was mediocre. For starter I ordered a "special" pasta as a local gentleman next to me who was a customer here had ordered one. The version I received was a "simplified" version of his plate. It looked more creamy compared to what I received. It tasted good though. After another long 20 minutes I finally got my mixed grill plate and again the quality was mediocre at best. For a grilled dish you expect it to be served hot, but you could tell the plate was standing on the counter easily for 10 minutes or more. The shrimps were cold and chewy without any garlic or taste. All in all was not a pleasant experience. I was only served some bread without any olive oil or balsamic, ...

A restaurant dedicated to seafood lovers. Super-fresh quality, simple dishes that showcase the ingredients. The raw scampi are delicious, the marinated anchovies are tempting, and the king crab Catalana sublime. A refined selection of wines, including rum and whiskey, is also available. Finally, the final treat: the lucky ones might be treated to a pasta and beans dish with mussels, a true delight.

Ottimo locale. Pesce fresco e piatti cucinati con cura. Ottimi gli spaghetti alla gaspare con vongole e bottarga. Da Gaspare rimane sempre una certezza se vuoi mangiare del buon pesce a prezzi giusti per un ristorante milanese.
