Ristorante Con Pizzeria Colomba In Desenzano del garda

Nice restaurant with some weaknesses. I ordered, among other things, a Pizza Ludwig: porcini mushrooms, Italian truffle, rosemary, etc. When the pizza was served there was no truffle and no rosemary on the pizza. After my complaint and some back and forth, truffle oil was “dumped” onto the pizza; it had apparently been forgotten - that’s just the way it was; the pizza only tasted of truffle oil. No trace of an apology or insight…. Then the map should be adjusted accordingly; the guest is deceived here. And porcini mushroom pieces from the jar?! Simply not unacceptable…no trace of rosemary… A real letdown - we paid almost €100 for a salad, a bottle of water & wine and 2 pizzas. Too bad...

Kindness and quality at the TOP Super location

Best restaurant in the heart of Desenzano, both for the splendid view and for the quality of the dishes it offers. We ate some excellent homemade bigoli with sardines and a pizza that has nothing to envy of Neapolitan pizzerias. I will definitely return to try other delicious dishes. Congratulations also to the service, excellent!

Evocative restaurant under the arcades overlooking the old port of Desenzano. The dishes are generous and very good. Excellent service.

We came because of the many good to very good reviews. Unfortunately, not everything completely corresponded to our ideas/expectations. The tuna was good, the mixed fish platter was average. The service not special. As soon as we walked in we had the feeling that we weren't necessarily welcome. We didn't have a reservation. The menus we received were completely smeared with grease and our entire table was dirty with it. At least the table was cleaned at our request, but unfortunately we had to ask for new napkins separately. Overall, we had the feeling that the service staff didn't make any effort with tourists, since most of them wouldn't come back anyway. About the ambience: we spent the whole evening wondering why there were boxes stacked up everywhere. As decoration? Is the guest room also a warehouse? In any case, it wasn't nice.

In addition to spaghetti with seafood, I recommend the cuttlefish ink risotto with edible gold 😋

Very good restaurant. We were there with a dog and the nice waiter immediately brought a water bowl for the dog 😍 Very attentive! Our Hugos were incredibly beautifully decorated and very good. Our starters, the mussels, were outstanding! There wasn't a single (!) shell empty or closed! They also tasted really delicious and the portion was pretty big. My pasta was also very good and apparently so was the pizza! Fresh ingredients and homemade sauces are not available everywhere, but you can find them there! For us it was a nice last evening before our journey home.

I ate here last night, very nice place with a really special atmosphere. Very good food, we ate fish. The portions are really generous. I highly recommend the place.

As always, very decent food, this time Spaghetti Frutti di Mare. Noodles were on point.
