Once in Montefalco, we decided to dine at this beautiful, high-quality restaurant. It's hard to find because it's on a street parallel to the main street, so you'll need to use your GPS navigation system to find the sign. We tried the recommended appetizer of oven-baked zucchini flowers, delicious. We then continued with tagliatelle with white veal ragù (super creamy and flavorful) and grilled lamb (excellently cooked and delicately flavored). The menu also includes dishes for non-meat eaters, including one of the most delicious dishes, recommended by the staff: pappardelle al Sagrentino. To top it all off, a fabulous ricotta and chocolate cake, magnificent. I highly recommend it.

The one-kilo Florentine steak was excellent, tender, and flavorful. Perfectly cooked rare and served on stone. The appetizers were also delicious. The 2015 Sagrantino, 17% ABV, was not only delicious, but also left no aftertaste whatsoever. The staff were welcoming and professional. The atmosphere was elegant and refined. The bill was steep, but it was worth it.

Welcoming and clean restaurant; we dined on the terrace at the entrance. The staff was prompt, knowledgeable, very kind, and professional. Typical Umbrian cuisine showcased well-presented local products. We'll be back.

It exceeded my expectations. I've had my eye on this restaurant for a while. I'll definitely be back for a Florentine steak to give it the missing star. Congratulations!

Three-course dinner, appetizer-first course-second course. I was immediately welcomed into the restaurant by the waiter, a place with character, with a beautiful terrace to walk outside. The tartare was excellent, chopped with a knife and well seasoned. The lasagna with white ragù was delicate and the fillet with sagrantino was amazing, excellent cut of meat and cooked as requested, after all the restaurant is renowned for its meat. Romantic and welcoming atmosphere. If you are in the area, I recommend it.

A great experience, top-notch food, meat from local producers, regional recipes like coratella or strangozzi. It's definitely worth booking a table and tasting all the specialties. Also, get advice on the wine; we go from Sagrantino to French champagnes. No problems, attentive and helpful waiters. We have a baby, a high chair was immediately available, and they heated up a baby food for the little one. Highly recommended. PS No changing table, hard to find that in an Italian restaurant. You'll manage like a true Italian 😉

Again (also 3 years ago) a great experience! We really love the bistecca fiorentina, the papardelle sagrantino and the zucchini flowers. Combine it with the Coccorone wine and you Will have a great evening!

Very nice food! Parpadelle al Sagrantino is wonderdull! Also the filetto al Sagrantino is very tasty! The wines are also good! Very good restaurant! Very liked it!

E’ stata una piacevole esperienza . Sono stata a cena con la mia famiglia abbiamo mangiato veramente molto bene . Dall’antipasto al dolce io non sono amante della carne rossa ma ho assaggiato la loro e si scioglieva in bocca veramente buona .

Semplicemente eccezionale! Fiorentina sulla pietra, decidi tu come cuocerla... , coratella squisita... non sono riuscito a trovare un difetto in tutta la cena... complimenti! Servizio impeccabile e preciso, dall'accoglienza ai saluti finali.... Bravissimi ancora, un posto dove tornare altre mille volte!

Very good appetizers with local products, carefully composed and with the utmost attention to presentation. Authentic and expertly seasoned first courses, combining the simplicity of the raw ingredients with unexpected combinations. I had the opportunity to try the wild boar with caramelized onion (also homemade) and was blown away by its deliciousness... Probably the best wild boar in white wine I've ever eaten in a restaurant... Fantastic!!! The desserts are equally as delicious, completing an excellent gastronomic experience. The atmosphere is casual yet elegant, and the terrace offers a beautiful view of one of the many "pictures of Umbria" that can be enjoyed everywhere here! The wait staff is polite, knowledgeable, welcoming, and with an edge given their youth—well done! You're a great calling card for this place! The prices aren't cheap, but everything above justifies them... Photos below 😉

20/08/2025: We returned to this restaurant by chance after a couple of years and found the same atmosphere and the same friendly, welcoming owner. The food was excellent, refined, and plentiful. Highly recommended!
20/08/2025: We searched and chose...it seemed like the right place, and it was! Nestled among the narrow streets of Città di Castello, with outdoor seating and a wealth of history. We were greeted very kindly by the owner's nephew. He's knowledgeable and recommended some very tasty dishes. The bruschetta with burrata and caramelized onions was excellent, as were the pici with orange, lemon, tuna, and almonds, and the desserts!
