We had some delicious first courses, with the mushrooms being the highlight. The tagliata was perfectly cooked and done just right.
The staff was very attentive.
The local wine was really good.
By the way, the appetizer "polenta with mushrooms and parmesan cream" was truly excellent.

I visited this restaurant in the summer, during a day trip to Montefalco: without a doubt, the pleasantness of the day spent in Montefalco is partly due to Coccorone. From the very beginning, we were greeted in a friendly and professional manner (which also serves as a testament to the restaurant's history and local roots), even providing information on the number of steps to climb with a stroller. The food is definitely the undisputed star, characterized by dishes that aren't overly elaborate and have an intense, authentic flavor. The selection of wines by the glass is particularly appreciated. In my opinion, it's one of those places worth visiting at least once.
