We came to Parma to try the Anolini in broth and all the typical Parma dishes; and we chose the Cocchi restaurant due to the positive reviews. Expectations absolutely respected. 2 of us spent €93 taking: a tasting of cold cuts with fried pie, two first courses, a second course and two glasses of red wine. Probably the best restaurant in Parma!

One of Parma's oldest restaurants is also one of it's best with delicious traditional food, great wine and friendly professional service. I love a table in the atmospheric wine cellar. In a town where virtually every meal starts with a plate of salumi, it's hard to find one that stands out – but the prosciutto, salami and pancetta here (all made from Parma's famed black pigs) – are the best I've had. Pasta is exceptional and the prosciutto-wrapped savarin with veal risotto is memorable too. Thin strips of beautifully rare Fassona beef are served simply with excellent roast potatoes and peperonata. And they do a good Torta della Duchesse (Parma's nut cake) for dessert.

It is finally a true typical restaurant, with an elegant environment and punctual service. I had the opportunity to dine here two weeks ago and what struck me in particular was their classic boiled meat trolley with a very skilled collaborator who served the boiled meats by portioning them out at the table. The choice of wines is also excellent; Trust them and ask them to recommend a good Lambrusco.

A nice restaurant outside of the center of Parma. Traditional Italian cuisine with traditional service and interior. It is a typical family restaurant but the more expensive one. This season they serve funghi in all sizes. The food is very nice, the menu itself is not so extensive. I especially liked the deserts. The value for money experience is less impressive. Expect to pay almost 50 euro for antipasto and primo and a glass of wine.

Tripadvisor en Guide Michelin bevelen dit aan en daar hebben zij helemaal gelijk in. Wat een leuk restaurant en bediening. Lekker authentiek en gezellig. DE gerechten zijn smaakvol en typisch voor de regio. Leonardo, een van de 2 zonen bediende ons dat deed hij met veel flair. Hij en zijn broer zijn trouwens de 4de generatie en volgend jaar bestaat dit restaurant 100 jaar. Speciaal daarvoor al zou ik terugkomen in combinatie van met een overnachting in B&B Palazzo Gozzi. Je merkt het ook aan der saamhorigheid tussen bediening en keuken, zij dragen de pasta samen uit. Deze zaak is wellicht een van de beste bezochte zaken door lokale mensen. Altijd goed; "Dat where the locals meet."

08/12/2024: We ate very well (fried pie and ham, tortelli with herbs with melted butter and parmesan) all excellent. Good quality house wine. Kind, attentive and friendly waiters
