Spotlessly clean, spacious, extremely friendly staff, and excellent, plentiful food. Located near Cerreto Laghi, it's a must-visit if you want good food at very reasonable prices. Ample parking.

A difficult place to reach, but worth the effort. Wonderful hotel, a peace and quiet that's hard to find nowadays, all complemented by a restaurant where you can eat excellently and at a reasonable price. Consider it for a vacation away from the stress of the city.

Well-prepared traditional dishes using quality ingredients. I've been here dozens of times and have always had excellent food. The tagliolini with porcini mushrooms is exceptional, in my opinion, but the appetizers, first courses, second courses, and homemade desserts are also top-notch, some of which are served with blueberries from the ridge. The service is prompt and courteous. You can't go wrong here.

A traditional restaurant nestled in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, accessible from the SP 63 shortly after the Cerreto Pass. Coming from the first hill of Reggio Emilia is a bit of a long drive...about an hour and a half, but it's worth it. Friendly and fast table service. I definitely recommend it.

Worth the trip. We tried ravioli, pasta with wild boar ragù, and mushroom sauce. For the main course, wild boar stew, rabbit, and a delicious venison fillet. Thanks to the guy who served us, really fast and good. Bonus: the place has a beautiful outdoor area with a garden, great for kids and dogs, as well as ample parking. Very fair prices.

You don't come here just to eat well—and you eat very well indeed—but to enjoy a complete experience filled with friendliness, warmth, and attention to every detail. From the highly trained staff to the dishes served, everything is crafted with love: fresh and authentic ingredients, impeccable presentation, and flavors that reflect the region. Each course is a small journey through traditional aromas and flavors, but with that extra touch that makes the meal unforgettable. Finding a place where you feel welcomed like a friend is not easy, and that's why Montagna Verde is unique. It's the restaurant where you leave wanting to return as soon as possible.
12/08/2025: We had lunch, and even though the location is a bit out of the way, it's absolutely worth it! The staff are always friendly and smiling; the location is beautiful, well-equipped, and breezy, perfect even for summer. The dishes are authentic, locally sourced, and mostly organic. The desserts and ice cream are all homemade: out of this world. We'll definitely be back. I highly recommend making a reservation; we went on a Tuesday and it was very busy!
