Fame precedes this place. Also called Ca' Gianin, it is a decidedly out-of-the-way restaurant, an hour or so from the main towns. But it's always full. On our way back from Cerreto Laghi we stopped for a quick dinner. It was 7.20pm and there was room for 3. At 8.30pm when we left there were people without reservations waiting. It offers excellent rustic food from the area. We took just a couple of classics: meat ravioli with ragù and pappardelle with wild boar. Ample parking. Excellent service

Un Ristorante davvero molto buono con un menù che va dai grandi classici della cucina italiana , buoni gli antipasti e buona. La Degustazione dei primi piatti e buona la carne 🍖 il servizio è molto buono . I prezzi sono giusti . Ci si ritorna sicuramente ottimo cibo ambiente adatto alle famiglie e buon appetito

Always a certainty. Traditional dishes, well cooked and plentiful. Punctual and courteous service. Welcoming, tidy and always spotlessly clean environment. Excellent quality/price ratio. A few km from the Cerreto Pass, at the crossroads with Sassalbo, it has been a fixed stop for years.

Abbiamo mangiato bene e abbondante. Dopo aver spianato la strada con un antipasto misto di salumi, crostini e polenta fritta, abbiamo aggredito tre primi: ravioli al ragù, pappardelle al cinghiale, tagliatelle ai porcini, serviti direttamente nel piatto ovale, tipo vassoio, per ciascuno. Personalmente ho trovato tutti e tre strepitosi. A seguire un dolce, io ho preso un semifreddo al mascarpone con mirtilli, mirtilli di quelli buoni. Ho apprezzato moltissimo il fatto che il cameriere abbia portato un assaggio di crostata, visto che ero indeciso tra quella e il semifreddo. Questi dettagli fanno la differenza e vanno detti! Prezzo giusto.

Excellent and abundant mushroom-based menu. I was with friends on a motorbike and they allowed us to stay in the place until it stopped raining in the late afternoon. Kindly recommended

26/12/2024: We chose this inn as an intermediate stop on a trip. After booking we realized that it was also home to a starred restaurant, unfortunately closed for shift that evening. Picturesque and silent environment, rooms more than welcoming and spotlessly clean. Excellent à la carte breakfast with local products included. We will definitely see each other again

Ristorante Da Gambin

26/12/2024: Da Gambin is an institution and has not changed over time: in my opinion it remains the number one in this area for enjoying panigacci, a very simple Lunigiana dish which here is enhanced with excellent quality cured meats and cheeses. The sausage cooked in the text is also very tasty. And I want to underline that as soon as you have the empty basket on the table, it will be refilled for you again, with further panigacci, hot and freshly cooked: no small service! The testarolo with oil and parmesan is very good, while I would think about improving the quality of the seasoning in the pesto one. However, given the beautiful location and the ample parking, for me Da Gambin is a recurring destination!
25/12/2024: Top Class for the local specialty. The great advantage is that it has been renewed, while respecting the ancient tradition
