Traditional, solid neighborhood option. Super convenient location right off Campo San Vio. Excellent grilled fish with polenta. Warm, solicitous hospitality. I sat inside looking out through an open window at the canal and it was a perfect, low-key last night in a city I have come to adore.

Il Cantinone Storico is a place that immediately captivates. The staff is professional and friendly, and the food is truly excellent and carefully prepared. The view of the canal in Venice is splendid and creates a unique atmosphere. The location is beautiful and welcoming, with reasonable prices for the quality offered.

I was impressed from the first moment: the refined setting and welcoming atmosphere. The dishes were simply delicious and impeccably presented.

The food is really good, both the meat and the fish were fresh and prepared with skill and love.
The location is brilliant at a canal and the atmosphere inside is really one of a traditional Venetian restaurant.
