We had lunch at this farmhouse before returning to Rome, very close to the center of Montefalco, excellent food, the strangozzi with truffles were exceptional as were the scallops with Sagrantino, and the Montefalco wine, everything was excellent!

We went to this farmhouse, a little isolated, but beautiful place, where tranquility reigns, simple but good lunch, recommended place.

Stunning location surrounded by greenery. Quality food and friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended for anyone passing through the area.

The food was good overall, some dishes we enjoyed more some less, however the staff was inattentive to one order and brought the dish with an ingredient that my friend specifically asked to exclude. After pointing out the fact, the waitress offered to change it, but the dish that was brought afterwards had traces of the ingredient nonetheless. I believe this could have been handled better.

We came directly from Rome for a day trip... specifically, I was organizing a birthday surprise for my partner. I had previously looked at this location as an overnight stay, but due to logistical issues, we were only able to use the catering service, which was a very pleasant surprise. Spectacular views of the hills, a quiet and breezy location, dishes with authentic and genuine flavors, olive oil produced on the farm itself, excellent wine, and I can't stop showering this place with compliments. They even managed to get a birthday candle for my partner without warning. The staff is patient and always smiling, ready to chat and be friendly. Plus, there's a small poodle that roams the tables, making you feel right at home. We want to return... definitely to stay overnight, and not just... also to try breakfast in this magical place where everything stops. 10 out of 10!!

Carmiano Piccolo is authentic, flavorful Umbrian food at its absolute best. Honestly, it might have been the best meal we had during our two weeks here. The staff is warm and friendly, making the whole experience feel relaxed and genuine. We had the ragu to start, followed by the scrambled eggs with truffle and the wine-braised pork chops as secondi – every dish was packed with flavor and felt true to the region. My only regret is skipping the tiramisu, which looked incredible. Next time, we’re not making that mistake. This place is a must if you want a proper taste of Umbria.
