Antica Latteria In Perugia

Great coffee and love the cream buns - maritozzi. The owner (I think 86 years young)has his own twist on those buns by adding raisins.

If you are around definitely have to try Brioche con panna or Caffee con panna. Excellent.

#1 in Perugia and beyond. The wonderful old places, with the owner making the whipped cream by hand. A must. But don't tell anyone. Otherwise, too many people will go there.

One of the highlights of our trip to Perugia! We were here for the Umbria Jazz Festival and went to Antica Latteria every day in the morning for our breakfast because it was so delicious. Highly recommend their Maritozzo and coffee with cream! It was the best Maritozzo I’ve ever eaten 🙏 Also amazing was the staff! Especially the girl with the glasses who was there every day during our trip was very kind, warm and helpful! ❤️🥰 We couldn’t really thank her while leaving because we were about to miss our train and we had to hurry, but overall it was a great experience and we will recommend Antica Latteria to everyone who comes to Perugia ☀️

The maritozzi with cream are exceptional, the owner is unpleasant, you can't have everything

A local friend recommended it to me, knowing I love cream. And I wasn't disappointed. The place is very small, so I was lucky to find a seat. The cream is fresh and inviting. I, however, opted for a small cream-filled maritozzo, even though I was really tempted by the coffee with cream. For cream and coffee lovers, it's definitely a must.

A tiny, super cute place. The breakfast is spectacular, absolutely worth trying. The maritozzo is incredible. Simply indescribable. The fresh, tasty cream—my wife loved it, too. The cappuccino was also very good; there was nothing lacking.

Authentic, simple place with good coffee and sweets!

We arrived from Rome, after seeing so many TV ads, good coffees and exceptional maritozzi, but the staff needs training, because they were maritozzi... but if they had been buttons or socks it would have been the same thing. Zero empathy, zero explanation of the product, huge disappointment. We were disappointed.
