Stopped here for a quick lunch before our boat trip and it was such a pleasant surprise. The pasta was absolutely delicious – way better than we expected for a quick meal, and definitely great value for money.
Even though the restaurant was getting really crowded, our waitress (a lovely young lady) stayed patient, kind, and attentive the whole time. That kind of service makes such a difference.
If you’re looking for a place with tasty food, fair prices, and friendly service, this is a perfect stop. Would happily come back again!

The food was very tasty. The prices were also reasonable. The only thing that could be improved: the drinks could be cooler. Nevertheless, we thank you for the excellent food and service.

The pizzas are highly recommended. The servers are always ready, attentive, and speak English.
Only the outside ambiance is less inviting due to the busy traffic and the location on a side street.

The tagliatelle porcini was very nicely cooked, and we loved the fritto misto very much (especially the fried prawns). Price was reasonable for a touristy area.

Mi familia y yo visitamos este restaurante basándonos en las críticas anteriores aquí en Tripadvisor. Fontana es un restaurante modesto y genuino que sirve cocina italiana casera, ¡y Dios mío, la comida estaba excelente! Probé el vongelle y el entrecot, ambos estaban muy deliciosos. El personal es muy servicial y atento. Mi familia y yo pedimos cinco platos diferentes y todo llegó rápido y estaba muy rico. Nuestra experiencia fue genial e incluso volvimos a cenar el mismo día.
Si quieres disfrutar de excelente comida casera italiana en Como, visita Fontana (y mantente alejado de las otras trampas para turistas con precios excesivos).
