Everything is good, simple in the noblest sense of the word. Real ingredients, honest portions, no exaggeration. The kind of cuisine that doesn't necessarily aim to impress, but manages to do so precisely because it stays true to itself. If I could, I would have given more stars!

I stopped by Bottega Massari without high expectations, more out of hunger than anything else. But then that rare thing happens: you sit down, taste it, and realize there's love there.
I had the lasagna and a slice of pan pizza—simple things, but treated with respect. The flavors were just right, clean, without frills. As if the chefs knew the difference between making food and actually cooking.
The staff is friendly, but not fake: they talk to you as if they already know you, without forcing it. The place is well-kept but not showy, with that air of a sincere shop where quality doesn't need to make noise.

The feeling you get is this: you're not just a customer, you're a guest. The owner and staff seem to be there with sincere intentions. They don't "serve" you, but "welcome" you.
