The hotel's excellent location near the San Pellegrino spa allows for a relatively affordable stay. The rooms are truly dated, as is the entire property. This is evident from the photos, but in person, the rooms are much worse than they appear, with furniture and fixtures reminiscent of a vintage museum. There were no cotton swabs in the room, and the toilet paper roll was already half used. However, the room was very clean. The staff was excellent, kind and very helpful, from the reception and breakfast waiters to the cleaning ladies. The breakfast was good, but my partner, who is gluten and lactose intolerant, was only able to eat a package of packaged biscuits, contrary to what I had been told on the phone, which stated they had alternatives for those with intolerances.

In the center of San Pellegrino, two minutes from the thermal baths, we found this wonderful hotel. They have rooms that suit everyone. The one we booked was excellent, simple, with a few details that needed updating (plaster and clothes hangers), but it had all the comforts, including daily housekeeping and towel changes. The kindness of the staff, always helpful and never rude, made our stay wonderful. The hotel's pastry shop, where we had snacks, an aperitif, and post-dinner drinks, was a real shame. 😂 The same staff also prepared breakfast, with the best croissants I've ever had. Truly unbeatable prices; everything was delicious and well-made. 5-star service at reasonable prices (at least compared to Milan). We'll definitely be back.

Top experience at Bigio, perfect and clean rooms, excellent location and very kind staff

The location deserves a 5-star rating, but on average it's a 3... the rooms are large but really bare and old-fashioned, everything dated, from the sockets and switches to the single-door wardrobe and a small luggage rack. There are no complimentary slippers, which are essential these days, nor are there many, if any, shelves, even in the bathroom. San Pellegrino and Panna mineral water are provided, as expected, but alas, the cups are plastic. The gift of their fabulous biscuits is nice. GREY. The room isn't bad for one night, but it's located in the other, older building. I must say it's really CLEAN... the housekeeping service is impeccable. The breakfast is depressing, the tables are without a single placemat, and most of the food is commercial. Furthermore, there's NO label with the ingredients and allergens. In fact, since I have allergies, I didn't try any sweets except their biscuits. Nutella, jam, butter, honey, and yogurt are all strictly industrial and not even local. It's a shame because it would have been a good opportunity to promote the area. Let's just say it can be improved, and it's a shame not to.

Spacious, clean, and quiet rooms. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was well-stocked and plentiful. The location is perfect, central to everything. The biscuits were simply amazing.

Lively, attractive, tasty, delightful, you can't resist the aroma of its sweets and the temptation of aperitifs, brunches, and snacks. Excellent desserts, cakes, biscuits, panettone, and much more. Bravo!

Clean and welcoming, strategically located just a short walk from the spa, crossing the hotel grounds. We booked a Junior Suite, but upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite for the same price! Fantastic room, breathtaking view. The hotel's pastry shop is excellent. Friendly and competent staff. Highly recommended for a couple's weekend, and more. We'll be back!
