A truly top-notch pastry shop in San Pellegrino Terme!
A few steps from the QC Terme, this completely renovated space is truly beautiful!
This pastry shop offers single-serving pastries, cakes, and the famous "del Bigio" biscuits, which it's a mortal sin not to try.
Highly recommended.

Always tough to rate hotels. This isn't a 5 Star Luxury Hotel. But it is a 3 Star Hotel, in my opinion, that has recently renovated and is very clean and a good value.
UPDATE: Not all the rooms were as well appointed as my first stay. But still overall a positive experience
UPDATE SUMMER 2025: Returned after a brief hiatus, I didn't recognize the place as I walked in. Significant upgrades to lobby and rooms. Not sure if all rooms are upgraded, but they are certainly focused on continuous improvement.

Due to thunderstorms and various road closures, we didn't arrive at the hotel with our six motorcycles until 7:30 p.m. Check-in was problem-free, and we were allowed to park in the courtyard. Most of the rooms were large, but the furniture was showing its age. At first, it was difficult to find the rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors, as we first had to find the "small" elevator at the end of the 1st floor. Early in the morning, we were awakened by loud noises from the courtyard, which turned out to be the busy activity of the in-house bakery. We had two experiences at breakfast. At the first breakfast, the "young" staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, even though there were only about 10 people there at 7 a.m. There were hardly any rolls available, or only a few were provided, which were then immediately gone. The cold cuts and cheese platters were empty after just a few people, and it took a long time to refill them. We also had to wait a very long time for coffee. On the second day, the opposite was true. By 7 a.m., the entire buffet was completely full. As soon as anything ran out, it was immediately refilled. The coffee was also served within five minutes, even though there was only one "mature" man on staff. He certainly had everything under control and was very friendly. A €2 tax per person was charged for two nights, even though this wasn't mentioned in the booking confirmation. We still thought the hotel was OK, as the location was good and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, we didn't use the in-house restaurant, as it seemed too expensive.

Hotel Bigio, nestled in the heart of San Pellegrino Terme, Italy, is a charming and historic hotel that blends old-world character with modern convenience. It’s especially popular among travelers visiting the nearby QC Terme spa, which is just a short walk away

We stayed here on recommendation.
The reception was very friendly, everything was clean, and the room was very modern with a great view.
Overall, the region is an absolute must-see. We'd love to come back.

Very well-kept hotel and directly connected to the pastry shop that offers every delicacy. It is also practically connected to the spa, you can get there in three minutes on foot from the internal parking lot. Breakfast at the restaurant located in the building next to the main one. This is also a beautiful and historic building. Very elegant. We had lunch the first day and then during a dinner we did a wine tasting during a presentation of a well-known winery. We had a great time and can't wait to return.

The service at the bar especially at the tables, waiting times were a little long. If you're in a hurry, it's better to consume at the counter.
On the other hand, however, the pastry shop is good as are their biscuits. I have no way of evaluating the rooms because we never stayed overnight. I want to try the restaurant as it is very elegant and hopefully good.

Ristorante annesso e adiacente all’Hotel Ca’ Bigio e della medesima proprietà. COMPLIMENTI. Per me siete veramente da 5 stelle.
