Hit 10, Great place, I liked everything, the service, the rooms are very elegant, nice interiors full of antiques, a spacious restaurant with a delicious breakfast buffet and the possibility of eating outside in the garden, the rooms were cleaned every day, there is nothing to complain about, I heartily recommend it

The hotel is very elegant. And sophiaticated. The interior is stunning. The building is very beautiful and historical. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with cozy sofas and nice pillows. The neighborhood is not nice and less secure. At the time I checked in, in the afternoon the bellboy wasn’t there and the receptionist was not offering any assistance in helping me with luggage and showing the room. It was very difficult to find it and only accessible by stairs. Definitely not what i am use to. The breakfast was not impressive by any means. No decent selection of fresh fruits. For fresh squeezed orange juice there was a surcharge. .

The hotel is old, but renovated to make it better. The location is EXCELLENT as it is close to everything, Via Maqueta, 4 Cantos, Cadetral di Palermo, several restaurants, etc. I recommend!

It is a very nice and central place. Clean and pleasant. Breakfast is little, repeated and ends soon and you have to wait for it to be supplied again. Good coffee (they charge for it) or eggs to taste too. I think they should improve the breakfast.

We only had breakfast here... an arrangement of our nearby accommodation. The hotel is well-kept, clean and it is obvious that it is a kind of shining pearl in the sea of ​​a dirty slum. The breakfast is excellent. The service is pleasant and graceful.

I think the building is very beautiful and I also really like the very elegantly furnished lobby area. After a disastrous experience with the hotel restaurant, I would now rather choose to enjoy a good bottle of wine in the lobby. Perhaps with a good book. To the reviews regarding the location of this hotel: I have been living in Palermo for many, many months now and am constantly - even at night - out and about in this area. Arabs and Africans live here. Alongside the native Sicilians. And for other peoples, it's normal to sit outside on the street (instead of in a café or on your own balcony), it's common to chat to each other on the street - or to play football as children on Via Maqueda in the evening. Yes, when the Ballarô-Mercato is no longer occupied by traders and street food vendors, you can see the simple and often dilapidated buildings that stand there. And you can also see the people who live there. Living there in very simple conditions. But that doesn't make the area dangerous. You can always travel the world either way: with an open mind - or in "consumer mode", where everything has to be as smooth and sleek as possible. If you prefer less "multi-culti" and more upmarket, there are other neighbourhoods in Palermo where you can choose your hotel between Gucci and Prada, for example. But why go travelling if you want everything to be as "tidy" as it is at home? There are many discoveries to be made in this neighbourhood, including a lovely bar with fantastic live jazz concerts nearby. I myself also really like this neighbourhood of Palermo.
