It could have been better! A very nice restaurant and very kind staff... I expected something more from the food! Also, welcoming dogs, even large ones, means sacrificing humans who don't like eating with hair flying around and the smell of dog in the air! I understand the choice, but I wish I'd known better!

This review pertains to a dinner experience. The service and the atmosphere are decent. However, the food was not good. Both our primi and secondi dishes lacked flavor. Including salinity and seasoning. Additionally, the dishes were not served below an ideal temperature.

What can I say... excellent traditional Piedmontese cuisine with top-quality ingredients prepared with care and passion. Attentive and friendly service made us feel right at home, and an excellent wine selection with a wide selection of local wines. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Bra!

We enjoyed a perfect lunch at Battaglino dal 1919 today. The food clearly expressed the traditional methods but did so in a sophisticated manner with careful presentation and nuanced flavours. The wine by the glass was excellent in both quality and value. Desserts were also exceptional and the service friendly and generous.

Excellent service, welcoming and attentive. The veal with tuna sauce was mind-blowing, but so were the rest of the dishes we tried. Beautiful location, with a truly scenic outdoor terrace. Adequate bill.

Capitato a Bra per un lavoro, tramite un amico del posto ho avuto BATTAGLINO come ristorante consigliato, parcheggio auto abbastanza vicino, per capire dove era ho aguzzato la vista , non è che si veda benissimo l entrata, il locale pulito ed accogliente, ha interno ed esterno, gestori gentili e preparati, mi hanno fatto sentire a mio agio. Abbiamo provato 2 antipasti, 2 primi e 2 dolci, si sentiva che le materie prime sono di qualità, devo dire che lo consiglierei. Il caffè servito con quei dolcini, fantastico! Spesa nella norma per i piatti avuti Bravi

Interessante ristorante nel cuore di Bra. Ambiente accogliente e personale disponibile. Servizio preciso e veloce. Il menù e ben diversificato con tanti piatti della tradizione. Piacevole anche la modalità scelta per il servizio che prevede l’impiattamento direttamente a tavola dalle padelle. Ampia la scelta dei vini. Prezzo di fascia media. Voto più che positivo.

06/10/2025: On our way back from the Piozzo Pumpkin Fair, at the recommendation of a local, we came to this trattoria. We opted for the tasting menu for €35, which included three appetizers served as a single dish: tagliolini with tomato sauce, veal cheek, and a choice of dessert. My rating was fair, with the tagliolini with ragu rated excellent. But the service was the main flaw: between each course, about half an hour. Arrival at 1:30 PM, departure at 5:00 PM.

Casa Scaparone

14/10/2025: A fully restored farmhouse in the heart of the Langhe region, offering traditional dishes revisited with great care. The beautiful interiors alone are worth a visit. The service is attentive and friendly.
13/10/2025: Was so pleased with this experience in the beautiful hills of Piedmonte. The staff were so friendly and patient with all our questions. The rooms were charming and i especially loved the deep claw footed tub. And of course the food was amazing-Umberto and his staff go above and beyond to create flavors and meals that are beyond food but experiences of the beautiful land they source their ingredients from. Stayed at a four star hotel the next night and it didn't not even get close to matching the comfort, hospitality, and beauty of Casa Scaparone. So grateful we discovered this place and were able to make amazing memories here.
