Posto particolare, all'interno della città e poco distante dalle zone più turistiche. Ambiente tranquillo dove assaporare del buon cibo e conversare in tranquillità. Il personale di sala è cortese e attento alle tue esigenze. Un complimento anche a quello di cucina.

It was a pleasant discovery. Very intimate, quiet place. Impeccable service given by the true and not superficial kindness of the employees. Tasty dishes cooked with attention and care. Excellent prices for a first course, a dessert, two bottles of water and a half bottle of Carmis, three of us spent 25 euros each. Highly recommended.

We love Basilio. We travel to Cagliari a few times a year for a few weeks at a time and we have visited Basilio scores of times over the last 13 years. Franco, Simone and Rosi are just great. It always feels like eating and drinking at a friend's place. All the food is fresh and resourced primarily from the Mercato San Benedetto...Franco can be seen there early in the morning procuring the necessary ingredients for the day. We find the pricing incredibly fair. Basilio has been going strong for 75 years this year. Old school Sardinian classics with interesting creative accents. When i'm worn out, tired and hungry...i just have to imagine the next time i'm in Cagliari and walking over to Basilio...it never fails to put a smile on my face and give solace to my soul. Thank you Franco, Simone and Rosi, for reliably offering us all a few hours of reprieve and nourishment amidst our busy lives.
