We had a dinner reservation and arrived about 15 minutes early. We were asked to wait in the waiting room, which was fine, but what felt odd was that no one spoke to us, offered water, or acknowledged us at all until exactly 6:45 on the dot, when we were then escorted to our table. During that wait, we could clearly hear a senior staff member from the hotel on the phone discussing a guest complaint about housekeeping allegedly stealing or mishandling something. Not ideal to overhear as a guest, and it added to the slightly awkward first impression.
Once seated in the restaurant, things improved. The service during dinner was good and and the mocktails were genuinely very tasty. The food itself was good and nicely presented, but not everything really stood out or surprised us.
Small but notable detail: the lock on the women’s toilet is almost impossible to use if you have medium or long nails. Not a huge issue on its own but one of those things that adds a little extra friction to the overall experience.
It was a fine experience, but slightly underwhelming. Good service at the table and solid dishes, but the hospitality didn’t fully live up to expectations. Probably a one time visit for us.

A complete restaurant in every way. An enchanting location, an elegant and refined atmosphere, meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail. The food is simply stellar: dishes crafted with great care and passion, offering the palate an authentic and memorable experience. But what truly makes this restaurant special is the human touch: a friendly, attentive, and sincere staff, and a chef who makes you feel at home, with a rare warmth, almost as if he's known you forever. A place that conquers the heart as well as the palate.

Situated on the top floor of Palazzo Manfredi overlooking the famed Colosseum. Wonderful views and great food options... drinks were very nice as well. Reservations are suggested in advance.

Aroma has lovely service and an unbeatable view of the Colosseum. The food was good, though I expected a bit more for a one-Michelin-star restaurant. Still, the view alone makes it well worth the visit.

A Michelin-starred experience where the views far outweigh the food. A succession of pasta dishes you can find anywhere else in Rome, but here they're overpriced. For example, the extra portion of carbonara (which they bring you in a cocktail shaker...) costs almost €50. You can find better carbonara in the city for €13-14. That said, the views of the Colosseum are the best in all of Rome.

Everything was perfect. The view of the Colosseum is breathtaking, the service impeccable, and the food divine. All menus are gluten-free. If you want to treat yourself to a magical moment, this is the place. A well-deserved five stars!

We had a wonderful New Year's Eve dinner here. Our booking requests were fully met.
Prices are quite high compared to other one-Michelin-starred restaurants, but the ambiance and view are fantastic.
Service was attentive. The food was very good, but not phenomenal. We especially enjoyed the "Colosseum" dessert.
