I discovered the Ostaria al Piave around 90, last time I was there 15 years ago and it's still the best in the area!!

Trattoria al Piave is a guarantee. We've been there several times and it's never disappointed. The dishes are excellent, original, and never boring. Service is fast and precise (the waitress is excellent), and little touches are always there, like welcome appetizers and homemade desserts at the end of the meal. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, like a village osteria (the trattoria also serves as a bar), but without the typical noise of such places. In short, anyone looking for a place with the characteristics and cuisine of these areas, where they can eat well and relax at a price that's commendable for the service, will find it here and will return.

Rustic osteria, very, very good food, small menu, but the few dishes are truly down-to-earth and well-prepared, and there are plenty of wines to accompany them. Occasionally, however, it can take a lot of patience to get served; it's always very busy! As an Austrian, you get cocky about the prices and want to move here, or you develop a negative attitude towards restaurants back home. The rip-offs for water and coffee in Austria are particularly annoying...

Pleasant atmosphere in this restaurant in Corona, a hamlet of Mariano del Friuli, with both typical local and traditional Italian cuisine.
Attentive staff, precise service.
Tasty dishes. Varied choice of mainly meat dishes, but also as an alternative in our case cuttlefish.
The only small attention to be paid is the amount of garlic in the cooked vegetables... in excess.
Excellent choice of local and non-local wines.
Interesting desserts, both traditional and more modern.

La comida era genuina y genuinamente bueno! El servicio fue muy eficiente pero también acogedor. La comida era excelente y extremadamente razonable. Teníamos el antipasto de ganso ahumado, luego tagliatelle en salsa de pato y stinco di vitello - no podía faltar ninguno de estos. También una gran botella de Merlot de Raccaro, desierto y café y factura era de unos 125 dólares, que nos pareció muy razonable dada la calidad.

One of those trattorias that you have to go look for or they have to recommend it to you because it's in the middle of nowhere, you don't end up there by chance. But once you taste their dishes you will never want to leave. The authenticity of the past, made with what is in season or local, cooked in a delicious and light way. Practically the TOP, nothing but starred... very kind staff. Is it possible to give 6 stars? Don't miss one of the ice creams for dessert or the biscuits given with coffee, they make everything in house!
