four stars because 5 only for perfection! Excellent, very welcoming and warm trattoria, excellent food and a friendly and attentive welcome. There you will find typical recipes from our region (here I discovered that there is a jota variety from Trieste and one from Gorizia). Homemade cooking, good wines and excellent value for money. No, it's the first time I've come and it won't be the last! Goodbye and congratulations again!

Sabato sera con un gruppo di amici siamo venuti qui a cena. Frequentiamo il locale da molti anni e si continua a mangiare e bere bene. Abbiamo preso vari piatti misti accompagnati vari vini locali. Tutto buonissimo. L’unica cosa strana e stonata i tovaglioli di carta mai visti prima.

Dispiace dover dissentire dalle recensioni positive, ma alcuni dei piatti ordinati non hanno entusiasmato; in particolare, le preparazioni con i funghi, totalmente insapori e di consistenza legnosa (tagliolini ai funghi e toc' in braide), gustosa invece la tagliata. Accoglienza fredda e distaccata. Personale non particolarmente sorridente. Servizio efficiente.

Authenticity... is a complicated word, but the perfect description for this inn. Located halfway between Udine and Gorizia/Görz in a village with the easy-to-remember name 'Corona'. Don't worry, my enthusiasm may just be contagious here. We came here for the first time on the recommendation of a winemaker friend from Collio (most of the wines on the menu also come from this region). Venison carpaccio with horseradish made him happy. Me too then. Superb! So does the price: 8 (eight) euros! The restaurant is mostly visited by locals, which is a perfect sign. Everything is excellent, homemade and without a lot of chi-chi, just authentic. So you love this wonderful area and ask yourself how they can manage such quality and great service at these prices. Great!
