Simple, neat and clean environment.
Well-executed food. Really satisfying quality/price ratio. We ate a lot and well: a seafood appetizer, a scialattiello shrimp and pistachios, a grilled shrimp and calamari, a fried calamari and shrimp, a tiramisu, a lemon sorbet, a large water, half a liter of house wine, two coffees and two covers... 57 EURO IN TOTAL. Super honest. Another very positive thing for me: there are no food odors in the room that could bother your clothes afterwards.

The food is incredible. Very tasty. The service was very good. And the prices were spectacular. If you're in Pompeii, don't hesitate to go there for lunch. I don't know if it's open for dinner... but the food is spectacular.

Everything about this place was great. We spent a week between Naples, the Amalfi Coast, and Capri, and this was hands-down the best service we received. The food was very authentic and the prices were incredible. We'll definitely be back!

I came across this restaurant by chance in Pompeii, which I visited during the second half of my two-week trip to Italy. I found it while looking for something to drink before the next day's tour of the Pompeii ruins. I finally found this restaurant in front of a convenience store near Pompeii Station. The surrounding area is full of cheap accommodation. The food and wine were reasonably priced and I was very satisfied. The seafood risotto and spaghetti vongole were delicious, and best of all, I could drink a bottle of house wine for 7 euros. This is the best value restaurant I've had during my trip to Italy, which included visiting Venice, Florence, and Tuscany.

Initially we were hesitant about the competitive prices on the menu but already from the first courses and the wine we could appreciate a substantial and good cuisine.
I ordered a bottle of wine at random from the list and it was good. Even though we sat down at almost 9 pm the bread served was still fresh and soft. The fish was also fresh and the dishes ordered very tasty.
The menu is quite extensive, too bad for the limited desserts that we did not order (only tiramisu, pannacotta and profiteroles).
Overall I recommend this restaurant. For what you spend and how you eat it leaves you truly satisfied.

This restaurant was tucked away down a side street, but one that we came back to for a second time! Their pasta and risotto were excellent and the best that we’ve eaten on our holiday.

Torniamo sempre volentieri a Pompei dove facciamo tappa fissa al "Gambero rosso". La bellezza dei luoghi e del clima di cui godiamo, si accompagna così al buon cibo che gustiamo in questo ristorante, che è diventato un punto di riferimento per noi e una esperienza da ripetere spesso. Peccato dover ripartire...
