Excellent quality, great price, the food is absolutely divine

We went on a Sunday after visiting Pompeii. It was full of locals, which we love when we travel. Not a single tourist. We ordered a charcuterie board to start (various cheeses, Parma ham, and spicy salami), which was very good. For our main course, we had grilled fresh fish of the day (in this case, sea bream, which was truly fresh) and a breaded cutlet (this one was chicken, large but quite ordinary in flavor). If you want sides (salad, potatoes, grilled vegetables, etc.), you have to pay extra. We ordered a house wine to accompany our meal (one bottle at this establishment), which was decent. The dessert was spectacular (both the tiramisu and the lemon sorbet—the latter was very flavorful and served in half a lemon). All for €45. The staff were incredibly friendly and made a real effort to understand our Italian. The only reason we're not giving it 5 stars is because on Sundays they offer a set menu for €20, which includes a starter, a main course (a choice of three very appealing dishes), a drink, and dessert. We saw it when they showed it to the table next to us as we were finishing our meal (it wasn't offered to us at all). When we mentioned it to the waiter as he cleared our table, he said that tourists prefer to order à la carte and that's why they don't mention it. If we go back next time, we'll know. In any case, a highly recommended place.

Every time I stop in Pompeii, I eat at this family restaurant. The owner is easy to chat with, "unlike her son😅," but that's no problem. The value for money is more than reasonable. I'll be back.

Found it by chance. We were a little wary of the prices on the menu. Excellent food, and the owners are very friendly. The place is a little dated, but the food is good and the price is reasonable. I'll definitely be back.

This is a "local" spot, and one that deserves attention. We were kindly greeted, no reservation, by a man on his first day of work. The server was kind, knowledgeable, and not afraid to ask the chef questions that we had on the plates. We ordered Carbonera and Seafood Pasta with the pasta a little softer. Tiramisu for dessert. Total bill was €26, and a fair price for the excellent quality, and tasty food. This is an awesome place, but slightly off the beaten path. Highly recommend on every level.
