Tavern "like it used to be" with friendly staff. Top-quality, tasty food cooked in a traditional way. Super fair bill. The best place to eat in the center of Pompeii 💕

The food is fantastic, very hearty and flavorful dishes. We went on a Monday and my friend and I were blown away by how good it was. The carbonara was spectacular.

As almost all the reviewers have already said, so I don't want to be repetitive, even if the place may look like it's from the '80s, imagine going to your uncle's house (in this case, Uncle Lello) with slightly dated furniture, but on the other hand, you know you'll eat well, you'll be welcomed and served with warmth and friendliness, and lastly (but very importantly), it's very cheap!!! Recommended? Highly recommended!!!! And it's also very close to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Pompei. We will be back, as promised to the owner Lello.

Centrally located restaurant, super low quality and prices, 1 generous spaghetti with clams, 1 fried prawn and calamari with green salad and water, for a total of €20, really nothing.

My boyfriend and I booked this restaurant by chance, and I have to say it was a wonderful discovery! The food is good and very cheap, I've never seen prices like this before... The waiter was very kind, and we had a really good time. If I ever return to Pompeii, I'd definitely eat there again 😊

BEST restaurant in Pompeii! So good we went every day of our trip! Best tiramisu I've ever tasted!! I highly recommend the spaghetti with pistachio and shrimp or the octopus, it's divine!! More traditional dishes are also delicious, like the carbonara or the spaghetti with clams. A family restaurant, traditional food, great price, cozy atmosphere, very friendly owners! Even the TV, at first I thought, "oh, they could take it off and put on some music," but it makes perfect sense, it gives that feeling of Sunday lunch at grandma's house haha ​​Oh, and it's open every day from lunchtime! I really want to go back!

21/12/2025: Located in Villaricca, the entrance itself is promising: all the aromatic herbs are displayed, along with fruit and vegetables on a truly characteristic display. Inside, the place is rustic, with a lovely fireplace and all the ornaments hanging from the ceiling that make it feel right at home. As soon as we sat down, we were served drinks (water, wine, and Coke), then we started with a delicious mixed antipasto, very generous with cured meats, ricotta, mozzarella, meatballs, potato croquettes, and bruschetta with broccoli rabe and pumpkin. This was followed by two small pots, one with potatoes and broccoli and the other with two pork rinds in sauce. The bread we served with the antipasto was also incredibly delicious. For our first courses, we were served: Genovese, rabbit sauce, and lardiata. Nothing to complain about, excellent and plentiful. For our second course, a mixed grill with chips. To finish, a crostata and biscotti with vin santo and clementines. Liqueurs (meloncello, limoncello, and grappa). Total €35. An experience to definitely repeat, the staff are attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it!

07/01/2026: The best 4* hotel i've ever stayed in. Views are amazing (special mention for the pool), restaurant is great and the bar is too !

Chef Sakai Fumiko conjured up an extraordinary fusion of Japanese and Italian cuisine that completely delighted us. Giovanni made the evening perfect: with great charm and expertise, he explained historical details about the region and the special features of each ingredient, making the meal an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!
