If you like a family atmosphere you should definitely go there. From starters to dessert, the food is traditional and simply delicious! In addition, the prices are still very pleasing and in my opinion even too low. But there is no pizza there...

Great value food in Pompeii - family run restaurant which offers simple but effective food. A good option if trying to avoid some of the pricier restaurants in Pompeii. Meat, fish and pasta have all been very good, and lovely service!

In a small street near the Pompeii square, the restaurant has a refined and familiar atmosphere. The food is excellent with medium prices for a high quality/price ratio. There were 2 of us. We took an octopus salad to share and 2 first courses. Half a liter of house white wine and a Lete water. In the end 2 coffees for a total of €39. The service is courteous and very friendly. I advise.

This place is amazing, I have no other words for it. The food was fantastic, very simple but super authentic Italian cuisine. The service was really good, the wine we like was not on the menu, the staff was looking all over the place, including basement, to see if they might have a bottle of it somewhere. This place is what Italian cuisine & experience is all about. And very affordable too! I was together with my wife, we had some bread, appetizers and a main course plus a bottle of wine and water for 42 euros! Insane. If we are ever here again, we would without a doubt come back.

Capitati per caso dopo visita agli scavi. Siamo entrati dubbiosi sperando in un posticino non turistico. Accolti con cortesia abbiamo ordinato il menù turistico. Siamo stati sorpresi positivamente, cucina semplice come da mamma, prodotti freschi, quindi più che consigliato.

06/08/2024: I highly recommend this taverna! The food was incredible and very reasonably priced. The tavern is small as it is a family business but the atmosphere is so friendly and the people working there are so warm! I went there with my friends to celebrate as it was my bachelorette and the girls who run the antica taverna a chiaia made sure my night was special, by putting on music for me and celebrating alongside me. I recommend this taverna so much, do not miss out! 10/10 for food and people
06/08/2024: We happened upon it by chance and we will certainly not return by chance, but by choice. Very good food. But Laura's kindness is indescribable. The other sisters are also professional❤️HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Vesuvio Roof Restaurant

13/08/2024: I booked this restaurant ages ago for my partners birthday as we were staying at the hotel across the road. For ages I didn’t see any reviews so began to think I’d made a mistake! How wrong could I be! We had the most incredible evening. Drinks at the Sky bar and then down to the restaurant. I had asked about sitting on the outside terrace but was told this was only for the tasting menu. I did think this was strange as we spent more than we would with the tasting menu but on arrival we were seated at the best table with a massive window overlooking the coastline and inside was a wonderful temperature, it was so hot outside it was a relief to sit indoors. The food was amazing and the team offered such excellent service, it really was a magical evening. From the bread to the dessert it was all fabulous! The lemon desert was my favourite of the whole trip. Throughly recommend this restaurant, Rosella and the team spoiled us all evening, it really was the hi-light of our holiday. Thank you .
