We've known Al Dieci for many years, since the "Dieci" meant you could spend ten euros for lunch like today... a first course, a second course, a side dish, and a soft drink or water... now, after many years, they've gone up to fifteen euros for the same deal, and I must say, the quality is still the same! An excellent first course of seafood linguine, a second course of fried calamari with fries, and water or a soft drink, for fifteen euros, and good quality, it's hard to find! A go-to place when we're passing through Alghero, just steps from the port.

The pizza was still doughy, the staff were watching their own movies at full volume, and the restaurant's background music was quite decent – ​​very annoying. The men's restroom door couldn't be closed due to a broken latch.

Good pizza, both at the pizzeria and at the restaurant. Fast service and very friendly waiters. Very simple place. Overall, we had a good experience. Parking was available and the center was close by.

30/11/2025: A must-try! It's located near Piazza Università, in the historic center of Sassari. This is our second time there. Small, intimate, and welcoming. Homemade food of excellent quality and quantity, prepared by the owner and his mother. Luciano makes you feel right at home. It's a place for those who care about substance, for those who want to eat well and leave satisfied and with a full belly!

La Schizzula

20/10/2025: Restaurant in an alley where the welcome is decent but it's a real tourist trap. It's good but very expensive and a bit limited in the plate. 15€ for a pork chop and 7€ for a plate of grilled vegetables consisting of 2 eggplant slices and 5 zucchini slices. It's a steal. 16€ for a plate of spaghetti bolognese is expensive. 3€ for a 75cl bottle of water when the day before in another restaurant it was 3€50 for 1.5l. So if you can go elsewhere, don't hesitate. Oh yes and 2€50 for service per person so 10 balls for 4. Free in other restaurants like the one from the day before in Isola Rossa.
10/10/2025: Castelsardo is beautiful and offers magnificent views and places! One of these is the trattoria La Schizzula owned by Ignazio Satta! A welcoming and family-friendly place. After a tour of the castle, I highly recommend eating here! We stumbled upon it by chance and were greeted with a smile. We had Sardinian gnocchetti with tomato and dried sausage, and delicious culurgiones! Nicolò recommended an excellent Vermentino, and the dessert was truly delicious! If we'd had room for more, we would have ordered something else, but the portions are generous! Nicolò, a little nervous, start smoking again!! Hahaha, I'm kidding! You're the best! Well done everyone, thanks again!! We'll definitely be back soon!
