Ristorante Fofò In Castelsardo

Excellent, beautiful souvenirs, careful, attentive information, coupled with precise, friendly service.

We went to Da Fofò on a Thursday evening in April, and it was not crowded. Fernando took excellent care of us, offering lots of advice and information about the dishes. We started with the house appetizers, first cold and then hot—not only were they beautifully presented, but they were truly original and tasty: I recommend them. For the first course, Fernando recommended the Spaghetti allo Scoglio to share, which was also very good with the pasta cooked al dente. And for the second course, my wife had the catch of the day (red mullet marinara) and I had the fried calamari, which was in fact just one (but large) and delicious. For wine, we ordered the house Vermentino in a carafe, which was also perfect. We ate very well (probably one of the best restaurants in Castelsardo, where we've been coming for four years now) with excellent service. We'll definitely be back because they have so many other dishes we'd like to try!
