The Ristorante Pizzeria Al Campiello is strategically located at a roundabout just before Cavallino on Via Barraca/Via Fausta in the direction of Punta Sabbioni. It is a large restaurant with over 400 seats and serves predominantly fish dishes, as well as plenty of pizza and a few meat dishes. The dishes we ordered were all excellent, with the Cozze a la Marinara being particularly noteworthy. The bruschetta alone (€7) is a good half-meal. The house wine was also excellent. The dishes arrived quickly and almost simultaneously, and the service is excellent. The value for money is excellent: for example, for two people with the aforementioned Cozze as a starter, calamari fritti, a pizza, half a liter of house wine, and two espressos, the price is around €50. Al Campiello is highly recommended for anyone looking to eat out in Cavallino-Treporti.

The pizzas are good, but certainly not perfect. The biggest problem is the ambiance. It simply reminds you of a hall, like a tent festival. Service is okay, but there's no cover charge in the sense of bread rolls or anything like that. But you don't charge for that either.

Wir waren als Familie dort und haben außergewöhnlich gut gegessen. 1x Granchio, 1x Cozze a la marinara, 1xbraciola di maiale, Gnocchetti ai formaggi, Pizza Margherita. Sohn meinte beste Pizza die er je gegessen hat, granchio und cozze sind ein lukullischer Traum, die braciola einfach nur super, die Gnochetti bombastisch. 1 grosses Bier 1/2 Liter Vino Frizzante und Acqua, 2 espresso, 1 tiramisu, auch top. Wir gehen sehr gerne dort essen, da alles stimmt , die Frische die Qualität, der Service und der Preis. KEIN EXTRA COPERTO SUPER. Da gibt man auch gerne Trinkgeld, da man mit allem sehr zufrieden ist. Für uns ganz klar, absolute Empfehlung.
