Excellent food, friendly and pleasant staff, well-kept location. I have had the opportunity to try their seasonal risottos several times and I was pleasantly impressed. The starters are also exceptional, full of flavour.

The food is very good and the dishes are often seasonal. Maybe a little expensive, but excellent quality.

I went with my family and a couple of friends. Very nice and welcoming place. Wide choice of risottos, but there are also other interesting proposals. Applause to the staff, who advised us on the choices, orienting us towards a sort of "rice tour": five different risottos, which arrived at a distance of about 10 minutes from each other, starting from the most delicate to conclude with the tastiest, divided between the five of us, all delicious. While waiting for the first risotto, they brought us some chips but made with pumpkin, very light and appetizing. Price normal. The only small flaw, we were near the entrance door, and you could feel the gusts of cold when the door opened, but there wasn't too much coming and going. Highly recommended

So, overall I'm very happy to have found this place, because: 1) it is 2 steps away from my hotel near the station, where from 24th to 25th December inclusive (and in any case always for lunch) the restaurant was closed and it is ABSURD; Since I didn't know Parma, I'm on foot alone (from Italian Switzerland by train). 2) very good prices for the food on offer and then I'm vegan and they made me alternatives to the menu several times (removing/modifying ingredients) and I love risottos very much. 3) the staff is, on average, welcoming... but especially in the last few days the owner has been very welcoming and communicative.. I had lunch and dinner (I specify this because I can't put both here. PS: Dear owner, I did NOT mean YOUR restaurant but the hotel one (which wasn't even the best for me!!) I just wanted to specify this... (then I wrote the review when I was in Parma but it left). I found somewhere else open for lunch at least for Christmas and I never went out again in the evening. I understand your choices for those days very well; I no longer have a family, otherwise I wouldn't have left home; so it's different 😉.
