Rifugio Bezzi In Valgrisenche

I didn't put a rating on the rooms because we were just passing through. Never been welcomed so well in any other refuge!!! The guys who work there are wonderful people! Here we understand the TRUE function of a shelter! Excellent cuisine! The homemade apple pie is highly recommended!!!! Thank you guys for everything you do and how you do it! I admire you! Roberto and Leo the chihuahua!

Sempre un piacere la sosta in questo bellissimo rifugio. Qui l’accoglienza è la gentilezza stanno di casa. Lo scenario è meraviglioso con il ghiacciaio sullo sfondo e la cucina si presta ad accontentare il palato. Complimenti 👍

Le meilleur refuge de notre randonnée circulaire dans la région. Nous y sommes passés deux fois( point de départ et point d’arrivée) et à chaque fois nous avons apprécié l’accueil, la cuisine et la propreté du gîte. De loin le meilleur refuge de notre parcours et un des moins chers !

From Valgrisence we walked to this beautiful hut via routes 17 and 16. Beautiful route with a steep final stretch (200 m altitude). The volunteers who work there are very nice. Dinner (3 courses) was excellent with a choice of 2 dishes. Breakfast is just toast with jam or chocolate paste and tea, coffee and hot milk. Luckily we had oatmeal with us so we could get started afterwards. We took the longer descent 18 down even though they said it was difficult because of the many snow fields (it had snowed in May). The route was too difficult for an inexperienced mountain hiker, but we were able to do it well. Snow fields were icy here and there, but the route down was nicer than the steep route 16. There was a large group of young people in the hut, which made it busy and noisy during dinner and you missed the real mountain hut atmosphere.

Beautiful hut, built by volunteers, with the help of people and their construction techniques and wooden beds and tables from Bolivia. The people who breathe life into the hut are super friendly and volunteers too! A warm welcome continued throughout our stay there. In the middle of the hut there is a large stove that heats the room. Water is precious, so nothing is wasted and drinking bottles are not allowed to be filled. Provide yourself with extra water or buy a bottle. Showering is impossible. Pure and delicious food! It's definitely worth the steep climb :).

I went to this high altitude refuge after wanting to go there for many years. From a landscape point of view, very beautiful but not unmissable, the last two hours to get there are a rather steep uphill wall, training is needed. The volunteers are very kind, especially the girls, friendly and smiling. Not before 12.30pm. you can have lunch, they also have a POS and the tap water is drinkable but it is forbidden to fill water bottles.
