Alternative to the refuge at the top. 2 km from the pass where the commemorative pyramid is. Ate good pizzoccheri. Free toilets! Obviously.

A wonderful place to stay. Our motorcycle break turned into an overnight stay; we were able to get a room spontaneously. Super friendly, and the food is all there is. Simple, but great! The morning atmosphere by the lake is fantastic.

13/07/2025: It's my favorite place to stop when visiting Santa Caterina Valfurva. The staff are very friendly, the food is always excellent, and the prices are reasonable. The view of the snow-covered slopes or summer meadows is like a balm to the soul.
25/05/2025: Great restaurant and bar right on the slope. It's just a shame that the cable car, which had a lower station here, was cancelled. We were given chips and nuts with our drinks as a courtesy from the company.
