Stunning refuge under Monte Rosa and a very nice and super welcoming manager. The food is excellent!!! Tapulone with polenta to try! One of the best lodges I've ever visited. A true mountain refuge. To return.

A very nice refuge, well looked after and with infinite hospitality. In addition to the dormitory they also have very nice and comfortable panoramic houses. To get to the refuge we did a climb on one more restful side and a panoramic descent on the opposite side, a very beautiful experience. Definitely a place worth visiting

One of the best refuges in Valsesia; top management of managers immersed in an uncontaminated natural environment. Excellent food from starters to desserts; As for drinking, the "Self Bar" needs no comment. Andrea #1, warm regards. For the less experienced, beware that the 2h15 indicated by the Acqua Bianca waterfall reaches at least 3h with a "challenging" climb (steep and steps) at the end.

Sempre una garanzia. Accoglienza fantastica. Posto molto bello. Il gestore è super. Polenta ottima, dolci fantastici, zuppa e carni buone. Non portatevi i panini se fate tappa qui, prendete al rifugio. Bravissimi

Refuge on the slopes of Monte Rosa, easily reachable after a 2 hour walk with path 207. I recommend an overnight stay. Clean bathrooms, possibility of a hot shower, but above all impeccably managed by Chester who will delight the palate with genuine products cooked with passion. Highly recommended

Molto accogliente, ottima cucina. Contesto spettacolare. Bar self-service innovativo. Mangiato minestrone e polenta con spezzatino di mucca vecchia. Frutta disidratata disponibile: ottima idea!

28/01/2025: January 2025 Before starting the review I read other people's reviews, I start with the worst and then the best as usual, what can I say, there are some great characters. I've been going to the place occasionally for years, today I decided to write a review, it more than rightly deserves it. Fabio is a person who is not a restaurateur for work, but for passion and he behaves as such. He admits if he makes mistakes and is always open to discussion, unfortunately he has the misfortune that in an attempt to be a cook I bother him about some recipe. He has chosen a local cuisine that he interprets and cooks with passion, he is keen to drink well and therefore offers his customers a very varied wine list. When he has the time he willingly passes between the tables for a chat, with the risk of my harassment.

08/02/2025: Super evening!!! Excellent food and impeccable service, Carlo and Luca were very kind! We discovered this place by accident but we will definitely be back
20/01/2025: Place with a wonderful atmosphere. Pleasant room reserved for tables for two. Piedmontese cuisine, but not only of the highest level. Well presented dishes. Medium-high prices, but the portions are correct. The service is impeccable. The owner is friendly, helpful, but never intrusive. Extensive and high quality wine list. Prices, I think, from €25 upwards. I like it very much. PS: the only flaw is the bill, they tell you the total and there is only one item on the receipt. Even if the total is correct (of course) I like to personally check the prices item by item.
