We dined at La Clotze and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is meticulously maintained, with great respect for tradition, and the service was attentive and top-notch. The quality of the ingredients is truly excellent: we started with a mocetta and lardo appetizer, and I must say I've never tasted such delicious lardo. This was followed by an exquisite venison steak, and for a sweet finish, a chocolate tart and homemade apple pie. Everything was simply impeccable.

The restaurant is nice and the waiters are friendly. I ordered a slice of venison (28€). The dish was served with 7 pieces of baked potatoes and 7 pieces of venison that were really small. Not good at all. Strongly negative review

A historic restaurant in Val Ferret, now in the hands of the third generation of the family that opened it in the 1960s.
A very intimate, cozy place with limited seating. Traditional Aosta Valley dishes and the best value for money of any restaurant we've visited in the Courmayeur area.
In winter, when the snow covers it, it has a magical atmosphere.

Traditional Aosta Valley dishes and some delightfully inventive touches, including delicious sweet and sour salads and a creative use of local produce.
Excellent service, excellent wine list.
Fair prices for the quality and service offered.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante sia per cena che per pranzo.
Ottimi gli affettati e squisito il lardo.
Tagliatelle alla selvaggina molto buone.
Polenta con blu d’Aosta e con salsiccia in umido buona.
Carta dei vini vasta e di alto livello.
Servizio giovane che ancora deve crescere (motivo del non 5).
Prezzi in linea con la zona.

We had dinner at this wonderful restaurant. The location is beautiful, with attention to every detail (tables, wall decorations, lighting, curtains... Everything!!!). The staff is super friendly and attentive to their guests' needs. The menu is good, with very interesting daily specials. All the dishes were delicious and received top marks.
I found the bill reasonable for what we ordered.
If you're in the area, I recommend stopping by!

The location is fantastic, just 10 minutes from Courmayeur, a very well-kept and pleasant setting. The food is delicious, especially the appetizers, which are reminiscent of the Aosta Valley tradition. The waiters are also very friendly and kind.

Ottima cena nel cuore della Val Ferret.
Ampia scelta e tutto di gran qualità.
Servizio ottimo e attento.
Ci siamo stati più volte provando piatti diversi e davvero tutto eccellente (forse solo la polenta valdostana non riprenderei, pur buona ma la preferisco di diversa consistenza) con alcuni piatti davvero top fra cui il risotto!
Salumi e formaggi buonissimi per iniziare e ampia scelta per proseguire con sempre novità fuori menù.
E pranzare o cenare con montagne di neve fresca a vista o con il sole estivo della Val Ferret è impagabile
