Restaurant Ustaria Posta In Badia

Frequento la Val Badia ed in particolare Corvara dal 1986; ad agosto di quest'anno, dopo un assenza che risaliva soltanto al gennaio 2023, ho trovato 3 dei miei ristoranti abitualmente frequentati chiusi (uno addirittura per carenza di personale....!!! Baahhh) ed 1 decisamente impazzito a causa dei prezzi lievitati, che inducono a fuggire a gambe levate soltanto alla lettura del menù. Mi sono pertanto recato a cena nei paesi limitrofi e mi sono imbattuto in questo hotel/ristorante, che propone una cucina del territorio con eccellente materia prima, servizio cortese e puntuale (accetta prenotazioni) a prezzi corretti per quanto offerto. Squisita pasta e fagioli, tagliata, canederli.. Ancora di salvezza rispetto ai prezzi ormai drogati della valle. Tornerò.

We spent 6 days here and were super satisfied in this sweet, family hotel. The room is modern and very clean. The staff was really nice and helpful. The menu in the evening was home-cooked, plentiful, varied and very, very tasty. Price-performance 👍. We felt totally comfortable and will be back.

My review concerns the restaurant where we have been several times and had excellent meals! An authentic and traditional restaurant as I expect from a mountain place.

The Ustaria Posta is a beautiful, authentic hotel in which we felt very comfortable. Family-run with a well-rehearsed, very nice and attentive team. The rooms are very comfortably furnished and the food leaves nothing to be desired. The location is wonderful for starting hikes and bike tours; it is only a few hundred meters to the lift or gondola. All in all, a very successful holiday with Igor and his family. Claudia and Igor were so welcoming and hospitable during our stay. It’s so lovely to stay at a family run accommodation. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at Ustaria Posta and everything we had was delicious. We would definitely stay here again in the future. Thanks so much for being gracious hosts!

Trovato per caso, dopo una passeggiata lungo il fiume. Piccoli tavolini esterni colorati, molto spartani, ma allegri. Troviamo in menu un risotto alle erbe alpine e proviamo. Discreto. Servizio semplice e prezzi medi.

You can eat very well and spend little

The "Ustaria Posta" is a historic hotel-restaurant in Pedraces (Badia). We used the outdoor restaurant, therefore without staying directly in the hotel. The restaurant room is very large and is shared with hotel guests. The menu is typical Ladin and all the dishes we chose were really very good.

Excellent Ladin cuisine, we tasted: dumplings, tagliatelle with mushrooms, goulash with polenta (very tender!), mountain pine risotto, barley soup and bruschetta (also non-trivial and delicious!). Stratospheric desserts, amazing strudels. Very friendly staff.

If you want to eat typical food…This is the right place! The girls in the dining room are fast and efficient, the food is excellent and the dishes are definitely generous! Highly recommended😊😉
