If you don't need wellness after sport, you're in good hands here in this nice hotel. Nice hosts, friendly, courteous staff. Excellent cuisine, perfect breakfast to start your ski day strengthened. Convenient location, approx. 150 m to the lift of the local mountain La Crusc. There is also a shuttle bus. From there you can also tackle the Sellaronda. Everything is possible with the connecting lifts without needing the car or bus. The ☀️weather☀️ was very good during our short vacation from March 16th to 20th and so we were able to enjoy our stay to the fullest. Great location, 5 minutes to the ski lift. There is a shoe drying room and a hangar for ski equipment on site. Parking in front of the hotel with available spaces. Very nice service, creates a friendly and family atmosphere. The food is delicious, local traditional dishes - more Austrian than Italian. I recommend this hotel for a ski holiday.

The Ustaria Posta has been my destination in the Dolomites for over twenty years. The food is incredibly good and authentic to the region. With half board, you gain weight as a guest even if you don't eat at lunch and do sports - the portions and selection are great - and I just can't say "no". 😊 The breakfast is varied, fresh and more than delicious - even special requests are always taken into account. In terms of cuisine, emphasis is placed on regional products - and that's a good thing. Great wine selection at dinner - you can order a bottle and drink it the next day - the prices are appropriate for the quality. Worth highlighting is the weekly Ladin evening with funny musical accompaniment. The decor and atmosphere are authentic. The waitresses are well trained, have all been there for years (where else can that be found) and are always nice. And the Tavella family as a whole and in every generation is simply extremely likeable and genuine. I always feel good. And every return is like coming home. If you're expecting yoga, shishi and a wellness oasis, you've come to the wrong place. Rather, it's about real South Tyrolean hospitality and culinary quality that you can experience every day. By the way, the region is beautiful at any time of the year, not just during the ski season. Skiing, hiking, cycling - or unwinding in a beautiful piece of earth - all of this is possible here, and much more. The only disadvantage - and the Ustaria can't help it, that's why it remains a clear 5 stars: Unfortunately the ski bus often doesn't stop in the morning because it's already full - the times aren't right and this needs to be tightened up. Of course you can also walk to the lift - but if there is an official ski bus stop, then you should be given a lift even during peak times. All in all, everything was really great - I recommend it without any restrictions.

The Ustaria Posta is a rustic inn in Alta Badia. The location makes the Ustaria the perfect starting point for skiing or cycling. Igor has published numerous videos on YouTube presenting various tours. Ski garage and ski boot cellar are available. The rooms are well equipped and always clean. The food is excellent.

Excellent food. Excellent Pino Grigio. Good house wine (Vernatsch). Dedicated and friendly service staff.

Best pancake ever had good steak

The hotel is located in the town of Abtei, a little off the main road. Very easy to reach by public bus connections and also by car. Due to the proximity to the lift station, you are also totally flexible and can do without your own car on site.

Frequento la Val Badia ed in particolare Corvara dal 1986; ad agosto di quest'anno, dopo un assenza che risaliva soltanto al gennaio 2023, ho trovato 3 dei miei ristoranti abitualmente frequentati chiusi (uno addirittura per carenza di personale....!!! Baahhh) ed 1 decisamente impazzito a causa dei prezzi lievitati, che inducono a fuggire a gambe levate soltanto alla lettura del menù. Mi sono pertanto recato a cena nei paesi limitrofi e mi sono imbattuto in questo hotel/ristorante, che propone una cucina del territorio con eccellente materia prima, servizio cortese e puntuale (accetta prenotazioni) a prezzi corretti per quanto offerto. Squisita pasta e fagioli, tagliata, canederli.. Ancora di salvezza rispetto ai prezzi ormai drogati della valle. Tornerò.
