At the end of the cross-country track, the refuge welcomes you in the best possible position. Excellent food and at a good price.

Stunning corner in Val Ferret, both in summer and winter. Typical tasting and relaxation in the sun. Starting point for excursions and terminus of the magnificent winter cross-country ski run as well as the winter pedestrian walk!

Excellent refreshment point, abundant lunch for four with shank with Aosta Valley polenta, trout with chips, 2 polenta with carbonade, glass of red wine, water and 3 berries with cream, 1 coffee (it's worth it for the cream alone!) for only €120. Everything was delicious and the orders were very quick!

After a nice walk of about two hours we arrived in this beautiful place. Very kind staff, pork shank cooked very well and very tasty, prices always high for me but certainly below the average of all the other restaurants in the area that I have visited so far. I will definitely go back.

02/05/2025: Visited La Maison de Filippo in Entreves, Courmayeur, and it was a charming experience! This historic restaurant, open since 1965, has a cozy, rustic vibe with vintage decor that feels like stepping back in time. I tried the traditional Valdostan ravioli and polenta—tasty and authentic, though portions were smaller than expected. The staff was friendly but service slowed down when it got busy. Prices are on the higher side, but the Mont Blanc ice cream dessert was a highlight! Perfect for soaking up Aosta Valley’s atmosphere. Recommend for a unique dining experience!
23/03/2025: If you are in these parts, do not miss it. Menu full of truly refined dishes, typical local products and of great quality. Waiters super polite and very professional when it comes to explaining dishes and wines on the list. The environment is truly characteristic and full of objects that recall old local traditions. For parking you can easily use their multi-storey garage, located 50 meters ahead of the entrance. Prices in line with the place and quality offered. Absolutely recommended.

Hostellerie de l'atelier

27/04/2025: What can I say, we found ourselves in Cogne almost by chance and almost by chance we entered this restaurant. You can't imagine the service and courtesy being at the top and the food could only be super. Little red circle in my diary of restaurants to return to.
31/03/2025: I returned for the fourth time to this restaurant. Everything is always excellent!
