A room with a nice sink, showers, and a newly renovated toilet. The only downside was the supposedly gluten-free meal, which made the next day difficult.

We had lunch here today, delicious penne with ragu, then two eggs and a raspberry tart with homemade cream, everything delicious, not to mention the view and the place, absolutely magical.

Absolutely loved our stay here. One of our favorite accommodations of the TMB trek. So charming. The bedding was so clean as were the bathrooms. Amazing & nourishing dinner of roast chicken, veggies, and polenta with an outstanding choice of desserts. Breakfast was great too. Very sweet & kind staff. Highly recommend!

We visited this place for our tour of Mont Blanc, everything was perfect! The welcome, the meal, the room, the breakfast. The gluten-free option was perfect. I highly recommend it. The place is beautiful, full of history with all the period photos, we will keep very beautiful memories.

A great hostel for our TMB trip. The room and bathroom were very clean! The bed was very comfortable! The meal was very good and plentiful. We had pasta with tomato sauce as a starter, polenta, chicken, and vegetables as a main course, and a choice of several tarts for dessert. The breakfast buffet was also very good.

Lots of people and very clean restrooms. The soft serve ice cream is very good. You can relax in a beautiful setting with lounge chairs and enjoy the fresh air.

17/01/2026: We came across this place thanks to a recommendation from my daughter and son-in-law. We went for lunch and ordered lard with chestnuts in honey (the lard was truly exceptional, and the chestnuts in warm honey were amazing), although I would have preferred a few more chestnuts. For starters, we had bigoli with goose ragù (the bigoli were excellent in texture and the ragù very delicate), then crespelle alla valdostana (a delight that you can drown in the goodness of the stringy fontina), and then venison stew on polenta (also very delicate, although you could taste, but it didn't hurt, a hint of gameiness from the roe deer). To drink, a glass of slightly sparkling rosé with hints of woodland, really good... the service was almost perfect... the prices were quite reasonable... the atmosphere was quite discreet and composed... what more can I say? Definitely worth a try.
17/01/2026: A charming and well-kept restaurant in the heart of Aosta. Delicious and beautifully plated local dishes at generally reasonable prices. Reservations recommended.

05/01/2026: Spectacular food, but the service is managed by a single person. The wait was very long, and there was no flexibility: while we were still waiting for the first course, we asked for a second course and were told that we'd end up in line at all the other tables, so we decided against it.
13/12/2025: Above expectations, superior quality and preparation. Excellent welcome from Mr. Fabrizio, who guides you through your selection of dishes.
