Relais La Corte dei Papi In Cortona

This place was so serene and quiet this time of year (late December). The staff was attentive and accommodating and the food... so good! Worth staying here for couples. I would say it's romantic. But, we also saw a couple of young families. You will be spoiled if you stay here. We will never get a better breakfast spread anywhere. They set the bar high!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon. David and his staff went above and beyond to welcome us and make us feel at home. The grounds and rooms were beautiful and well cared for. The food and wine were outstanding!! Our whole experience left us wanted to stay longer. If you have the chance you must stay here!

We stayed here for a wedding. It was one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been to. The staff is out of this world amazing, so attentive and welcoming. Truly what you would expect from a 5 star resort setting.

Our son and daughter in love hosted their wedding there on October 4, 2025. Absolutely stellar service. He rented out the whole venue for 4 days and the food, atmosphere, the staff was incredible. Very attentive, always willing to help and the Owner, David, was right there as well. The welcome dinner, the cocktail hour, the reception, the brunch the day after....spectacular. Everything was incredible! Thank you all.

The location and setting are remarkable and very welcoming. The first impression was very nice, but after checking in, the speed and superficiality with which they handed over and explained the suite to us was an immediate warning. The rooms were very beautiful, welcoming, and stylish, but we immediately noticed a lack of cleanliness. The service in the restaurant left much to be desired; the staff couldn't speak Italian, and no dinner dish was explained or described to us, unlike our 5⭐️ competitors. The water was in a carafe, not labeled, and breakfast was unsuitable for this group, considering I'm lactose intolerant. A decent experience, but far from the asking price.

Amazing experience! An absolutely magical stay at La Corte dei Papi near Cortona. The property is stunning — surrounded by peaceful gardens lovingly cared for by the owner’s mother. David, the owner, is an exceptional host: warm, attentive, and full of local charm. Every detail reflects authentic Tuscan hospitality.
