The food was excellent. The service was very friendly, multilingual, and knowledgeable about the cuisine. We felt completely at home.

To give this jewel of a restaurant a 5 star rating is doing it an injustice. It was a mind blowing experience, not ponsy food, just brilliantly crafted. Starting with the decor which would eclipse high end boutique restaurants in L.A. or Paris. The staff were happy, welcoming, professional, and thoughtful. The food, was amazing. Cooked to perfection, it was a perfect evening. If you want to leave a restaurant with your tummy and taste-buds pining to come back for more. This is the place you need to come for an outstanding experience.

Intrigued by the location, I decided to try this experience, which to call excellent is an understatement. I was impressed by the unique treatment I received from Roberto and the entire staff, not to mention the freshest ingredients and refined dishes. I wanted to thank Il Mignano for making my anniversary with my girlfriend one of a kind.

Very good and well-presented food, a lovely location in the historic center of Nardò.
The waiters were very good and professional. It's a shame the waiter at the door was cold and dismissive, both upon arrival and at checkout.
The calamari appetizer was priced at €31, which was excessive compared to the average price of the other dishes (all the other appetizers were half price).

I never thought I would want to eat Sushi in Italy! Gift of the house arrived and it was utterly delicious. So we ordered Sushi. We were not exciting traditional Sushi (thank goodness) but what we were not expecting was incredibly Sushi.
Every mouthful was an adventure and a suprise. Having spent two weeks in Nardo eating in wonderful restaurants and very well at home. It was wonderful to step away from pasta, pizza, meet, beans and salads.
The staff were utterly amazing with kindness and patience. The environment was relaxed (we had a beautiful little dog sitting beside us call 8! Otto!)
Don't be afraid to order the Sushi here. We recommend it.

Excellent experience
Quick and very professional service, despite the sold-out evening. The location, a historic building in the historic center of Nardò, just steps from the castle, is stunning. Another strong point is the quality/price ratio: excellent, generous, and elaborate dishes at a more than fair price. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!
