I ordered five books via the Feltrinelli online site, choosing to collect them at the bookshop in Piazza della Repubblica in Florence. Orders arrived on time, as expected, and pickup was quick and easy. On that same occasion, I decided to purchase two more books directly in the shop and I had the pleasure of being assisted by Giulia. A person I will remember for a long time: very knowledgeable, friendly and extremely empathetic. Characteristics that I consider fundamental for those who work in contact with the public and which, unfortunately, not everyone possesses. Giulia made the experience truly unique, demonstrating great professionalism and sensitivity. I would also like to thank Filiberto for his availability and kindness, always attentive to the customer's needs. Thank you very much to all the staff for the care and attention shown. In this place many bookshops and the layout and use of the rooms have alternated for decades, it could even actually be considered the no. bookshop. 1 in Florence but... perhaps that hasn't been the case for a while now. Yet historically it was always nice to come to Piazza della Repubblica and leave the bookshop with first choice books from the vast collection they kept. However, it remains a place of interest and the location is certainly irreplaceable, a visit is recommended.
