Before or after a stroll through Reggio's city center, this small and welcoming place is a guarantee: it offers tasty and authentic ramen, undoubtedly the best in the city, paired with exceptional gyoza and perfect takoyaki. The atmosphere is very casual, the owner Luca is quite affable, and the service is fast, but sometimes a bit disorganized at lunch. Reservations are recommended for dinner, on weekends, or if you're in a group, given the limited seating (many with stools). They often host food-themed and/or Japanese-themed dinners. The tapas are the best. Dattebayo!

We went to Ramengo tonight for Wagyu evening, after having already been there once for lunch: I can definitely confirm the excellent impression.
The atmosphere is elegant, warm, and relaxing, perfect for both a casual dinner and a special evening.
The food is truly top-notch: balanced ramen, quality ingredients, excellent meat (the Wagyu is truly worth it), and dishes with attention to detail.
The prices are also very positive, absolutely fair and consistent with the quality offered, which is not always a given.
Attentive service and an atmosphere that makes you want to return.
From me, a very high rating.

Tonight I attended the wagyu tasting evening, and what can I say, it's always a wonderful experience. The flavor is unique, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients, the homemade pasta, and the broth! The sake pairings are excellent.

There were two of us, and we waited an hour for two ramen dishes. I'm not in a rush when it comes to lunch or dinner, but an hour is a significant wait. We asked for two hot sakes to pair with our dishes (one meat and one vegetarian), and asked the staff to do so. The waitress offered us the same sake for both of us, telling us that it paired well with the first dish because of the meat, and with the second because of the vegetables. This perplexed me, but it doesn't matter. What I didn't like was that the sakes arrived so quickly, so an hour after the dish was served, they were cold. At the end of the meal, we wanted to order dessert, but no one paid attention to us and came over to ask if we wanted anything else, so after about twenty minutes, we gave up. Finally, from where we were, we could see the ceiling completely covered in mold. It's a shame, because it's hard to find a place where the broth for vegetarian ramen is flavorful and tasty, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Emilia takes you to Japan.
In a hidden corner of the quaint "old town" of Reggio nell'Emilia Vecchia lies Ramengo, a restaurant that recreates the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese restaurant.
Luca, a student of Chef Hiro, offers a simple menu of traditional and revisited Japanese dishes such as bao, gyoza, tsukune, takoyaki, dorayaki... and of course, the ramen that gives the restaurant its name. Dishes are prepared with care, dedication, and professionalism, all strictly homemade using traditional Japanese methods and techniques. I recommend visiting several times to try the entire menu or to attend one of the culinary events. Reservations are recommended, and counter seating is highly recommended!

I wish I could double the stars... Congratulations... Our first experience at this place. Excellent ramen... Excellent service... Vittoria is a wonderful and very professional woman, recommending dishes and pairings to help you enjoy their specialties to the fullest...
Even the chef (probably the owner or manager) with whom we spoke at the end of the evening, a person very passionate about his work and always looking for improvements and attention that should not be underestimated.
