A gastronomic experience, excellent dishes made with excellent raw materials and skill, the imprint given by the owner "Rudy" can be seen in the furnishings made with wood from decommissioned ships, you can feel it in the dishes with their authentic flavours, you can perceive it in the atmosphere of the place.
The staff is welcoming and prepared.

A place perfectly set among the alleys of the oldest Sestri: even the arrangement of the tables, the lights, the knobs to hang jackets and coats along the walls covered with ancient paneling, everything remained as in the 19th century. You can chat peacefully while waiting for the attentive and kind waiters to serve the orders. Very fresh fish!! They have their own fishing boat and, I am sure, this makes the difference. The octopus is the master but I would not neglect the catch of the day.

Restaurant in the historic center of Sestri Levante with many rooms even if the style is a little outdated but still welcoming! Lots of friendly staff and great food....I recommend it!

A typical place in Sestri Levante where the quality of the dishes and the service make for excellence.
Even though I didn't book, I was welcomed very politely and a solution for two people was immediately found.
The service is very friendly and professional with attention to customers and their satisfaction.
The courses are good in quantity and the preparations very pleasant, with attention not only to authenticity but also to presentation.
A good "house" wine produced in the area is the right accompaniment.
The price is quite high but adequate for the style of the place.

Unfortunately, confirming the good food and excellent service, I remove a star from the environment because often "rude" customers leave or enter the restaurant leaving the door open and if you are hosted at the tables near the entrance it is not pleasant to feel the stabs of cold air coming in from outside while you are eating: it would be enough to adapt the door with an automatic closing system. I believe that with a few euros this inconvenience could be solved.

Very casual place, like a trattoria, all fresh food with excellent, not abundant portions... well with a delicate and fresh taste, recommended for those who love fish...

We had a Sunday lunch at this restaurant on a weekend in March and really enjoyed it.
We tried the tuna tartare with artichokes and plain as a starter and the first courses with sea urchins and shrimp as a first course.
All surrounded by excellent service.
Simple dish but with good portions and impeccable tastes.
Two starters, two first courses and a half bottle of wine €105.
Recommended place!

Entriamo attratti dalle numerose recensioni positive e dall'atmosfera retrò. Locale vuoto alle 12 e tutto esaurito dopo 1h. Ci servono per primi. Spaghetti ai frutti di mare decisamente mediocri, in bianco con pochi frutti e slegati, deludenti. Ottimo invece lo spaghetto con carbonara di mare e tonno affumicato. Buono il polpo fritto. Porzioni giuste, non abbondanti. Coperto 3 euro esagerato considerando le 5 striscioline di focaccia che ci hanno portato al posto del pane. Non ci tornerò.

Nous avons goûté deux plats : un poulpe préparé de manière classique et des carbonara au thon, qui étaient tout simplement extraordinaires. Nous recommandons vivement ce dernier, une véritable réussite ! L’accueil était à la fois chaleureux et professionnel.
