The food was tasty and looked great but the tuna steak gave my wife scombroid fish poisoning which suggests the food is not stored properly.

08/11/2023: Recorriendo la bella Porto Venere nos encontramos con este lugar de pocas mesas pero que, a pesar de la espera porque no teníamos reserva, valió la pena. La decoración impacta. Muy buena atención. Las preparaciones son muy gourmet. Recomendable probar el pulpo y los calamari scottati. Para paladares entendidos.
17/09/2023: We designed our typical three course meal, sharing each course. We chose to experiment a bit as it was lunch, the prices were quite reasonable, and the restaurant had good reviews on Google. Frankly, we do not rely on TripAdvisor reviews for restaurants in Europe as it is a very seldom used tool. We opened with the charcuterie board which was quite varied and extensive. Without even noticing, our server we filled our bread bag. Our pasta course was a house specialty which had an almost crepe like pasta base will 3 different sauces. One of the sauces was really interesting, one okay, and one pretty bland. Our second course was steamed octopus in a puree of potatoes and bean. I believe it was very appropriately prepared, not chewy, with a pretty pretty subtle taste profile. Can't say we will order octopus again as it just doesn't do the trick or either my wife or I.
