Pizzeria Verace In Grosseto

10/06/2026: Dinner in a welcoming place, very friendly staff, but above all the dishes were all very good, the gnocchi with garlic, oil, chili pepper and clams are amazing... I highly recommend it.

07/06/2026: We stopped for lunch at Le Burle after 2:00 PM, one of the few restaurants open in the area. They seated us in the back of the restaurant, which is cooler and airier. We ordered sautéed mussels and pici cacio e pepe with bottarga. The mussels were truly excellent, especially the flavorful sauce that accompanied them. The pici were also excellent, although the bottarga was barely noticeable. Prices are quite high: most entrees are around €20, with the exception of the pasta with meat sauce. The service, however, was less convincing. Despite the restaurant being sparsely crowded, the staff seemed inattentive, engaging in lengthy private conversations with some customers at the next table. It would be interesting to also offer a version of cacio e pepe without bottarga, to offer a more affordable alternative.
