We found this charming trattoria by chance while walking around trying to decide where to eat! If I'm not mistaken, it's family-run, which is great. We ate really well, and I highly recommend it.

We went to this restaurant for two lunches and one dinner, and the experience was fantastic. You'll find practically the entire Tuscan culinary tradition. No frills, pure authenticity. And it's perfect just like that: authentic flavors, the Florentine steak made to perfection, the fillet steak also excellent, the house wines are simply as they should be, the house red is fantastic, full-bodied, without needing a fancy name. This place is authentic and pure, nothing else is needed. The house desserts are also excellent. The prices are average, and the service is also prompt and precise. Keep up the good work.

We came to Montecatini Terme on vacation to spend a relaxing holiday, looking for various places to enjoy local products. I found this trattoria, "Il Vicolo" (I believe it's family-run), with an atmosphere that feels like an old theater. You eat like you're at home, from the mixed platters of cured meats and cheeses (try the side dishes, such as the Chianti reduction), to the meat-based first courses. The Florentine steak on offer is excellent, cooked as it is in Tuscany, strictly rare (otherwise you can leave, and it's no joke! Haha). What amazed me was that even the side dishes were spectacular, fresh, seasonal, organic, and all homemade! (It's hard to find other places that use the same quality). The staff is very friendly but professional. A plus: they also accept dogs! (Of course, without disturbing other customers.) We tried a bit of everything, from appetizers to liqueurs, and I have to say it was absolutely worth it; we returned several times during our stay. (If you can, I recommend trying their black cherry liqueur; you'll love it.)

Good value for money, welcoming atmosphere

We went for an impromptu dinner. A welcoming and typically Tuscan place, with excellent, home-style food. Definitely worth a try. Overall, we had a great time.

The food is excellent. The portions are generous, and if you're used to eating small portions, it's best to ask for a half-portion for the first courses. The staff is very friendly. There's also a wide selection of desserts to choose from. The menu is varied! The place is very welcoming.

We had a great time, the atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were friendly and helpful, and very attentive to their needs! Everything was excellent, from the starter to the coffee, the apple pie was top notch! My compliments, it was truly delicious! Thank you for this culinary experience! I highly recommend it!
