Seat 2 Margherita 8 Monreale 14 The pizza is just okay. The dough is a bit chewy. However, the interior is unique and worth a visit. I especially appreciate the bathroom visit. The food is a 3.5, but the atmosphere is a 5.

The pizza was truly excellent, flavorful and with a light crust. I recommend the house caponata, which tastes as it should. The place is small but very charming and unique because of the books it contains. The staff is helpful and welcoming.

For me, it's a charming place because it's like my own. I like simplicity, books, and art. I'd work on the aesthetics of the place, as it's a bit like a warehouse for unnecessary things. The combination of gold, colors, and mirrors has a sense of purpose and atmosphere. Some of the paintings are beautiful. We were served by an older gentleman who called for the lady to come cook. It took a while, but I didn't mind, because I understand the mentality of these people. It was delicious. A little attention to cleanliness is needed and consideration should be given to how to showcase the place. The service is simply homey, family-like. It's their way of life and their way of earning a living.

It's a pizzeria I've been going to since I was a kid. The pizza is better than it was five years ago, but worse than it was ten. I still go back because the atmosphere is extremely welcoming and the schiacciate are still phenomenal. Recommended if you're passing through.

15/05/2025: Llamamos aquí para cenar una noche durante nuestra estancia en Cefalu. Nos sentamos adentro, ya que hacía un poco de frío afuera, y no nos gusta fumar. El ambiente interior era encantador, y el servicio era amable y rápido Pedí el ravioli de pescado, que estaba delicioso, y mi marido tenía la pasta de sardina, que él disfrutaba. Compartimos bruschetta como entrada, que también era hermoso. La comida era muy buena relación calidad-precio, por lo tanto es un lugar muy concurrido.
05/01/2025: Cercavamo un posto dove pranzare. Scartati quelli suggeriti dal proprietario del B&B (e abbiamo fatto bene) ci siamo fidati dell'intuito verificando di presenza le condizioni fisiche dei posti. Così abbiamo evitato i posti con il terrazzo sul mare (4 mq di spazio con 10 tavoli a mo' di strapuntino) o quelli dai prezzi esosi. In questo ristorante la sensazione è stata positiva e quindi ci siamo accomodati. Non è andata male (antipasto di polipo che la mia signora ha gradito, pasta con le sarde solo un po' scotta ma ottima, 2 orate alla griglia delle quali una in crosta di pistacchio ottime, ananas come dessert). Locale accogliente, tavoli degni di tale nome, buona pulizia e servizio puntuale e preciso. Totale 80€. Non poco ma meglio di tanti altri posti vicini...
