I can't understand the amount of people who queue and book well in advance to dine here. Personally I didn't find the pizza so excellent as to justify its reputation. Despite this the staff were super, and the environment very welcoming. However, very honest prices.

It's been too long since I entered this historic manor house, with its wood-fired pizza. It is certainly not up to me to praise the delicacies served to regulars and travellers, but I want to mention, as an anomalous minstrel, what happened to me today... I was quietly enjoying a seasonal delicacy when an increasingly thick fog enveloped me and overshadowed everything else. I heard, only occasionally, the crackling of the fire, and the chorus of ovations from the diners to the innkeepers. Then, when the spell was over, I stood up and looked around: brick walls and floor, wrought iron articles. Yes, I have returned to a place I love so much, where the only thing that can be missing is the Round Table...
