Excellent traditional Piacenza food, including delicious ricotta and herb tortelli, gnocchi, cured meats, and meats. Casual atmosphere, very fair prices. Worth a trip off the beaten path to enjoy the tranquility of the village of Pecorara.

19/05/2026: This restaurant serves traditional dishes, using natural, local ingredients. Some dishes seem to have been pulled from the '80s, making them delicious. Their specialty is a rice timbale stuffed with pigeon (the portion is for four, but if you're two, order the same so you can take the leftovers home). The flavor is remarkable, yet light and pleasant. The wine list is extensive and very reasonably priced. The service is informal yet friendly, making us feel more at home than at a restaurant.
