Pizzeria Ristorante Casanova In Bardolino

We were greeted warmly by the waiter, but unfortunately the "boss" didn't have a smile. The food was very tasty, deserving of a star because both dishes weren't really hot. Otherwise, there was an aperitif before the meal and a limoncello afterward. We would definitely go back. What's absolutely unacceptable, however, is that the prices on the board at the street differ from the prices on the menu; both dishes were €2 more expensive than what was listed on the street. That's unacceptable. 4 stars despite everything.

A great restaurant with good food and very friendly staff. The landlady chats with all the guests and has cute extras for the little ones. We felt so comfortable that we went to Casanova for dinner every day during our stay. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. I highly recommend the restaurant. I would go back anytime.

Lovely food and the waiters were so friendly

We took the boat to Bardolino and had no idea where to eat. We decided on a whim and went to this restaurant, and we weren't disappointed. The food was excellent. We had two pasta dishes and two pizza dishes. There really wasn't anything wrong with it! It was fantastic!

Everything was fine, very good and recommendable, can't say anything negative, they didn't give me any reason to come back again 😍

The restaurant in Bardolino where everything is just right. Top service!!! Top food!! Aperitif on the house to start!! Lemonade on the house to finish!!! Snacks on the house!!! If you're skimping on tips, you should find something to compare and stay home out of politeness. Service is fast and sharp! Nothing takes long here, and the chef is always close to the customer (sweaty but friendly).

During our week long stay in Bardolino we tried various restaurants and we were pleased that we happened to choose Casanova. Like others there was a member of staff trying to drum up custom but there was no pressure as we perused the external menu. We were warmly welcomed in and ushered to our table. Two glasses of Prosecco were delivered as we decided on what we would eat. My wife chose her usual Pork Milanese (€18) and I went for the Breaded Prawns - Gambercroccanti (€24). We were happy with the portion size and the quality of food was most satisfactory. Having requested a rest we then shared a Ricotta E Pere. The bill was accompanied by a small bottle of Limoncello and small cake. Including 1/2 water, a medium beer, glass of rose and two cover charges the total was €68.50. Although the front of house staff seemed neat in number they were extremely efficient and attentive. One even paused to take our photos on my I-phone. That despite having a table for 18 right up the centre of the restaurant! (They seemed to be regular customers and their pizzas looked great). Service was quick and on leaving we were warmly thanked at the doorway by the female and male member of staff. We left very satisfied and with a good feeling. It was nice to soak up the appreciation for patronising Restaurant Casanova. Seems massive improvement since the poor 2024 reviews. We might make this our final night choice.

Posto accogliente, personale molto disponibile. Aperitivo di benvenuto e limoncello alla fine molto graditi. Piatti abbondanti e gustosi. Consigliato!!
