Fantastic experience at this restaurant. I had the tagliolini with lobster and a Prosecco reduction, and they were truly delicious. I also tried my friend's seafood dish: that, too, received top marks. The service was exceptional. The waiter even opened the lobster for me, a truly appreciated touch. An added bonus: they offer a welcome aperitif and even a amaro/sorbet at the end of the meal. The food was top-notch, and the staff was impeccable. I highly recommend it and will be back soon!

Superlative service! Extremely patient. We had two dogs, two children, and a newborn, and they didn't make any faces or comments whatsoever. We requested a menu change, and they accommodated us. The prices were completely reasonable; in fact, the menu saves you a lot! We'll definitely be back!

We come to Casanova every year for dinner and have been impressed every time. You can still find typical Italian cuisine that hasn't been spoiled by tourism. It starts with the main courses, which are served without the disgusting fries; you can eat the bread with it or order a separate side dish (contorni), as is customary in Italy, and ends with the salad, which is served with real Balsamic Modena and not the cheap Aceto Balsamico. Anyone who appreciates authenticity will feel at home here.

The pizza here is absolutely amazing! The dough is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the toppings are always fresh, and the flavor is just unbeatable. The staff is super friendly and the service is fast. Definitely one of the best Restaurants I’ve ever been to highly recommend! I've gotten so many things on the house and the waiter was one of the nicest persons i've ever seen!

Great service and gluten free pizza which was difficult to find in Bardolino. All the staff were amazing and very attentive.

During our week long stay in Bardolino we tried various restaurants and we were pleased that we happened to choose Casanova. Like others there was a member of staff trying to drum up custom but there was no pressure as we perused the external menu. We were warmly welcomed in and ushered to our table. Two glasses of Prosecco were delivered as we decided on what we would eat. My wife chose her usual Pork Milanese (€18) and I went for the Breaded Prawns - Gambercroccanti (€24). We were happy with the portion size and the quality of food was most satisfactory. Having requested a rest we then shared a Ricotta E Pere. The bill was accompanied by a small bottle of Limoncello and small cake. Including 1/2 water, a medium beer, glass of rose and two cover charges the total was €68.50. Although the front of house staff seemed neat in number they were extremely efficient and attentive. One even paused to take our photos on my I-phone. That despite having a table for 18 right up the centre of the restaurant! (They seemed to be regular customers and their pizzas looked great). Service was quick and on leaving we were warmly thanked at the doorway by the female and male member of staff. We left very satisfied and with a good feeling. It was nice to soak up the appreciation for patronising Restaurant Casanova. Seems massive improvement since the poor 2024 reviews. We might make this our final night choice.
