Pizzeria La Fornace In Anzio

Pizza delivery done to perfection, excellent appetizers. Nice place with ample parking.

I went with friends and we had both meat and pizza. The sliced ​​steak was truly excellent, the pizza was Roman-style, but you can also make it Neapolitan-style. The appetizers were delicious, especially the amatriciana supplì. Fast and efficient service. The staff were friendly and attentive to the customer's needs! Definitely worth returning.

We've always been loyal customers, but we hadn't been to Anzio for a while, and when the opportunity arose, we returned. The atmosphere is always pleasant and the dough always good, but the service has significantly slipped: the pizzas arrived rather slowly, despite the small crowd when we arrived, and several times they were missing some ingredients, such as the porcini, provola, and pancetta pizza, twice without pancetta, and the Napoli pizza without anchovies. One of the waitresses was rather rude, even annoying when answering the staff, while the waiter with glasses, whose name I don't know, is always the best.

What you expect from a pizzeria

Pasta with meat and pumpkin - excellent!! The meat (main course) was very tough to chew, but flavorful. The service was very helpful and attentive. One year later: The appetizers were left on the plate with no interest, the pasta was VERY salty (too much cheese), the meat was also undercooked (very rare on the inside) and not seasoned at all, and the so-called "grilled vegetables" consisted of 4 slices of zucchini and eggplant/eggfruit - cold! The 4-spoon dessert was served beautifully decorated, at the price of a 4-star restaurant. While everything (except the service) has deteriorated significantly, the bill was MUCH higher than before. I cannot currently recommend Della Fornace. Update October 2025: Yesterday we ordered pizzas from La Fornace. One was as ordered, the other was WAY too salty! Furthermore, the pizza was spongy and the base was rough like sandpaper. I assume (as some pizzerias do when the oven is too hot) that they tossed some salt in the oven, but then they have to make sure the next pizzas aren't too salty!!! I won't buy there again and will choose Cocchi's instead. As a German, I can say: In Germany, you can find much better pizzas, even at Asian restaurants.

A decent pizza with friendly and fast service. The atmosphere was excessively noisy. We rushed out after eating. The prices were reasonable.

Scrivo la mia esperienza presso la fornace con un po' di ritardo rispetto a quando ci sono stato, ma non ho assolutamente perso la memoria e ricordo perfettamente di un bellissimo locale, fuori dalla zona centrale di Anzio, particolarmente tranquilla e con un parcheggio capiente che, già da lì si denota l'attenzione x mettere il cliente a proprio agio. Il locale è molto grande, bello a vedersi e con un grande spazio esterno particolarmente utile nel periodo estivo. Abbiamo mangiato a base di pesce, come da tradizione essendo sul mare, e la nostra cena è stata veramente squisita. Ottimo e particolarmente cordiale il servizio offerto che rende ancora più gradevole la permanenza. Un po' alto il costo, ma trattandosi di pietanze fresche ed a base di pesce è normale che possa essere così...... Un posto dove sicuramente ci torneremo e che consiglio vivamente a chiunque si trovi a passare da quelle parti.

Ottima Pizza e ottimo il servizio anche veloce . Pizza romana molto croccante e sottile ma si può scegliere anche l'impasto napoletano o integrale.
