THE PLACE OF PLACES! Entering this restaurant, you're immediately and unexpectedly transported back to the '80s. Dishes, waiters, furnishings, table settings... everything is perfectly frozen, resisting time with great tenacity. Il Fondatore is absurdly absurd, defying every rule, like something out of the most bizarre character in a novel. In short, if you're looking for a pleasant and different evening, this is the perfect place!

After many years on Lake Garda, I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. My visit exceeded all expectations. The flavors were unique, and the service was very attentive. The chef is a passionate restaurateur. We'll definitely be back.

Il piccolo Doge è una vera perla sulle sponde del lago, questo ristorante di pesce conquista fin dal primo sguardo: la vista sull’acqua è mozzafiato, perfetta per una cena romantica o un pranzo. Il crudo di pesce è semplicemente eccellente: freschissimo, presentato con eleganza , poi per me che sono un amante del crudo e il must da provare in ogni ristorante di pesce di mare e devo dire che sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita. Tra gli antipasti mi ha incuriosito anche tris di tartar che proverò sicuramente la prossima volta . La carta dei vini è ben curata, con una selezione di etichette Lugana che si sposano meravigliosamente con il pesce. Il personale è preparato e disponibile a consigliare l’abbinamento ideale. Il finale con un tiramisù speciale, fatto in casa, cremoso, ben bilanciato e assolutamente da provare e stata la nostra perfetta conclusione . La parte però più speciale sono i vari festeggiamenti che hanno li e il proprietario molto apprezzato per la sua ospitalità e elisir di lunga vita , sicuramente torneremo .

Restaurangen ligger vackert utmed strandpromenaden och erbjuder en varierande meny, huvudsakligen fiskrätter. Personalen är trevlig, dock underbemannad och det tar mycket lång tid mellan förrätt och varmrätt , minst 45 min. Vi åt en blandning av rätterna, caprese - inte värt pengarna, tråkiga tomater, parmaskinka - helt ok, ok grönsallad, goda scampi men mycket tråkiga pommes, seebass gjorde dom däremot utmärkt. Desserterna var ok, goda viner till rimliga priser. Vi skulle vilja se en generellt högre kvalitet på maten innan vi kommer tillbaka.
