Piccolo Doge In Bardolino

We stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant by chance... we had a great meal! Excellent value for money. Special mention for the very kind blonde lady in the room....well done!!!!

Restaurant on the lakefront a few steps from the center of Bardolino. From the outside the structure does not appear particularly inviting but inside, although furnished in a very tacky way, it has a particular charm and a sense of warmth and welcome which is overall pleasant. During the day you can enjoy a beautiful view of the lake from the windows. The staff is very kind and accommodating. We took a grilled sea bream, a sliced ​​rocket and parmesan, 2 grilled vegetables, 1/2 liter of house bardolino, 1 water, 1 creme brulee and 2 deca coffees for a total of 79 euros The food may not be presented very well but it is of good quality. The meat was very tender and the fish very good, perfectly cooked, both in generous portions. I would say very good value for money. Don't miss the opportunity to taste the raspberry liqueur kindly offered at the end of the dinner.

Locale molto molto particolare , come se si tornasse indietro nel tempo , ma piatti strepitosi , ci siamo trovati lì per caso e siamo stati molto contenti ! Pasta allo scoglio super super deliziosa ! Idem le linguine al ragù di manzo! Prezzi nella norma , Ve lo consiglio !

The restaurant is located in a beautiful position overlooking the shores of Lake Garda and in summer it is possible to enjoy dinner on the outdoor terrace. They made us sit at a carefully set table, offering us a prosecco or alternatively a non-alcoholic aperitif. We took both meat and fish dishes. The dishes prepared with care and well presented, then moving on to the homemade desserts (the tiramisu is spectacular!). After the coffee, the owner Mr. Mauro offered us a liqueur of his own production. In my opinion, I considered the final bill to be fair and in line with the quality of what they served us (indeed, we had expected to spend much more). We will definitely return in the summer to enjoy the outdoor terrace. Highly recommended restaurant.

The place of the heart, always ... with Mauro and his staff you feel at home, with service and an environment that makes you feel at home. Excellent cuisine, the only thing you feel I hate to point out is the need to change the menu from time to time. Good wine list, the national one needs more variety.

But what a beautiful place!! Seafood specialties on the lake a pleasant surprise. Shrimp and truffle tagliatelle, monkfish and grilled vegetables. The rib was excellent, served exactly as requested, fast service, welcome with toasts and friendly greetings. Very kind staff in a very refined and well-kept place, two meters from the lake with a full view. A quick stop during the journey, truly satisfying in every sense. We will definitely be back.

I have known Mauro for more than 20 years, his hospitality and thoughtfulness towards diners is a rare quality nowadays. Cozy place, fabulous lake view, excellent food. I recommend it for a lunch/dinner alone, in company and for all important events. Thanks for everything.

Ci siamo recati presso il ristorante sul consiglio di un mio amico. Devo dire che e stato fantastico. Pranzo eccezionale con piatti super gustosi e curati in ogni dettaglio, personale molto preparato e il titolare simpaticissimo in poche parole ci ha fatto sentire al nostro agio sin dall’inizio. Il locale super curato. Lo consiglio vivamente e sicuramente torneremo presto
