Excellent food, characteristic place and excellent service!

Located in the historic center of Gubbio but away from the chaos of tourists, the restaurant offers cuisine rich in tradition and craftsmanship. Rich dishes, ingredients divinely linked together. The owners/waiters were friendly and helpful. My applause goes to Simona, an excellent hostess, who entertains and makes guests feel at ease.

A weekend with friends, we came across this restaurant by chance and I must say luckily the one where they had recommended us to eat was fully booked, excellent food, excellent wines and above all excellent service and a family welcome thanks to Moreno and Simona.. We will definitely be back

The restaurant is located a few steps from the main square of Gubbio and looks a little retro, with paintings and pennants hanging on the walls that recall the places of the past, very spartan but familiar. And in fact the hospitality makes you feel at home: her smile and availability and her partner's accommodating attitude put you at ease! Prices a little lower than average: €15 for an excellent tagliatella with truffle and €10 for an omelette with porcini mushrooms, both truly delicious, second courses of meat around €15 with the possibility of seeing the chosen meat cooked in the fireplace. After having ordered 3 dishes for two (starter, first course and second course), an unusual but welcome proposal from the owner who advised us to wait before ordering anything else, also going against her profit, so as not to risk filling up and having to leave something. From these attitudes you understand that there is care towards the customer and a desire to provide an excellent experience. If we were to return to Gubbio, we would definitely return to visit them. Never eaten so well in a restaurant! Food, service and courtesy of the highest level, honest prices and average portions. Everything was excellent, quiet atmosphere, I would go back regularly.

Sapori autentici, l'antipasto della casa sfizioso, ottimi anche gli strozzapreti al tartufo e il maialino. I dolci perfetta conclusione. Servizio veloce e attento.

Abbiamo pranzato lì in 6 (4 adulti, 2 bambini) e un cane. Il personale è stato si. Da subito gentilissimo sia con i piccoli che con il cagnolino (al quale ha portato una ciotolina d’acqua). Il pranzo è stato veloce e la qualità del cibo nella media. Abbiamo ordinato due antipasti (salumi e formaggi) e la famosa fonduta al tartufo: gradevoli, forse da migliorare la qualità dei salumi. Per i primi abbiamo optato per le tagliatelle al tartufo (6-) e i ravioli al brasato (6). Dolci buoni, consiglio la crema chantilly. :)
