Picchio Verde In Gubbio

We had lunch last Saturday. The place was quite busy. The staff was attentive and very welcoming. The food was excellent and the prices were very competitive. The truffle fondue was excellent! We'll definitely be back.

Impeccable hospitality. We spent New Year's Eve dinner with a couple of friends and it was a truly pleasant experience. Simona and the entire staff were extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. The food was excellent, offering authentic Umbrian dishes for a truly lavish dinner: three appetizers, a surprise fondue, two first courses, two second courses, a sorbet, and a dessert—all carefully crafted and flavorful. We were particularly impressed by the attention paid to allergies: despite the busy evening, we were treated with great professionalism and even had a special meat menu prepared for us. The price was absolutely fair and the dishes were truly delicious. A heartfelt thank you to Simona and all her staff for their hospitality and the care they gave their guests. Highly recommended. During a short vacation in Gubbio, we ate at this restaurant. The owner, with care and professionalism, impeccably handled my food allergy, allowing me to enjoy excellent food with peace of mind. I recommend it.

A restaurant with a large, cheerful vaulted dining room, carved out of charming Gubbio stone. A few simple, traditional local dishes, well-executed and recommended by the lively owner. The braised beef ravioli are excellent. Excellent value.

During our stay in Gubbio, our host recommended this place, and we loved it so much we decided to go back twice. The place is very cozy, with a fireplace that creates a lovely atmosphere. The staff is friendly and very sweet, even with our little girl. The dishes we ate were delicious, from the braised cannelloni to the wild boar gnocchi and cappelletti in broth. The main courses were also fantastic, with beautifully cooked side dishes. Excellent value.

A very charming place with a central fireplace where the friendly owner grills meat. Excellent dishes, a fantastic truffle omelette, and a highly recommended grilled fillet. The staff are good, fast, and friendly.

We were there years ago and I have to say it has improved. The cuts are delicious, even the appetizers!!! The staff is kind and helpful.
