Picchio Verde In Gubbio

Traditional restaurant with exceptional value. We had dinner with six adults and ate traditional food prepared with care and no frills, but with plenty of substance. Exceptional appetizers: I ordered two different dishes to share and I loved them (cured meats, cheeses, crostoni with various toppings, fried foods, etc.). After the appetizers, some of our guests were already full! For the first course, we ordered two portions of cappelletti pasta with truffles, excellent in quality and quantity (plenty of black truffle). Second courses: mixed grill (modified with only lamb and veal), pan-fried guinea fowl, roast lamb, veal steak. 3 or 4 side dishes. Various desserts for four people, three glasses of wine, and a few bottles of water. Spent less than €200!! Fast and super friendly service; it's a pleasure to be served like this, which is not at all a given in tourist areas. If I ever pass through Gubbio again, I'll definitely stop here again. Well done, keep up the good work, offering the traditional flavors of your cuisine at a fair price. I almost forgot, the rustic, clean, and spacious atmosphere is quiet.

We were at Picchio Verde yesterday and we can only leave an enthusiastic review! Regardless of the excellent quality of all the dishes (delicious!), what we really appreciated was the speed of the service: we ordered and in a moment we were already eating. An incredible plus, especially when you are with a child. Efficiency, quality and courtesy: we will definitely be back. Congratulations!

Siamo venuti per Pasqua, il posto è molto carino ed il personale gentile e cortese, abbiamo adorato l’antipasto ed i ravioli asparagi e tartufo.. una vera delizia Ci è piaciuto meno il secondo secondo, il ragù era acquoso e poco saporito Tutto sommato è stata una bella esperienza, torneremo!

Abbiamo cenato davanti al camino acceso,che vieni usato pure per grigliare la carne. Cibo buono con diversi fuori menù.servizio gentile e veloce.rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono. Consigliatissimo
