We went to Piatto d'Oro in Gubbio to celebrate a birthday with a very large family group, including adults and children, and the experience was truly excellent.
We opted for a fixed menu and were pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the food and the excellent value for money.
The generous portions and the attention of the staff made our evening even more pleasant. The service was impeccable, with great courtesy and availability in managing such a large group.
We recommend this restaurant to everyone, both for family lunches and dinners and for special events.
An excellent choice for those looking for good food, generous portions and a warm welcome!

I've been there several times and I've always eaten well, the pine nut sweets are very good in fact I always have them. The strong point of this place is certainly the value for money, you spend little and you eat well.
On Sundays it is always very crowded so the service also slows down a bit. As for the ambience, the place is certainly dated but people come here for the food and not for the location.

Booked based on hearsay and moved by curiosity, I can say that my doubts were removed.
It is certainly a place to go with few demands and just as many expectations.
Having said that, you spend little and eat much better than many fancy places.
In short, if you want to try a slightly vintage meal with simple dishes from our tradition and our land... go ahead.

Locale vintage in tutto e per tutto,ci vuole un po di pazienza x ordinare,ma poi piano piano arriva tutto,se avete la puzza sotto al naso non fa x voi,i piatti sono semplici ma abbondanti, oggi ho preso i cannelloni e te ne porta 5,fatti vecchia maniera con carne e besciamella(stesso sapore da 40 anni che ci vado) poi salsicce e abbacchio fritto strepitoso, ci vado x questo,3 pezzi giganti,cicoria ripassata,patate ecc ecc tutto eccezionale.
