A restaurant serving traditional cuisine with period decor. Delicious food and huge portions. Superb value for money. We'll definitely return. Wait times are a bit long on weekends as the restaurant is always crowded.

We stumbled upon it by chance. It was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was very friendly. We waited a bit, especially since it was Sunday and everything was packed, but it was worth it. We'll definitely be back.

It was recommended to us by the girl where we stayed, we ate well and the first courses we had were delicious, pine nut sweets and tagliatelle with truffle and above all homemade pasta, I recommend it, a restaurant with excellent staff, they make you feel at home

A rustic but truly delicious place. The pasta portions are huge, but they're genuine and homemade, just like they used to be, and truly satisfying. The staff is friendly and the service is really quick, with no unnecessary waits.

Sono stato al Piatto d'Oro con mia moglie il primo maggio scorso, dopo aver trascorso una bellissima giornata visitando Gubbio. Siamo di Roma. Un caro amico ci aveva consigliato di spostarci a Branca e provare questo ristorante/trattoria umbra perché non saremmo rimasti delusi. Buona accoglienza e camerieri gentili ... Piatti abbondanti: un tris di primi (tagliatelle al tartufo - agnolotti al cinghiale e le famose caramelle all'aglio (veramente squisite) ... ed una porzione mista di agnello scottadito e fritto. Due cestini di pane e focaccia bianca, vino rosso, birra, acqua, caffè e amaro. Pur essendo io un mangione, non siamo riusciti a terminare la carne, della quale abbiamo portato via con noi alcuni pezzi. La simpaticissima proprietaria, così come ci era stato prospettato, non ha rispettato i prezzi scritti sul menù e ci ha chiesto di pagare il tutto per soli €35. Bankomat disponibile. Che dire? Certamente da tornarci.

12/10/2025: A lovely discovery. The meat appetizer deserves an A+. The meat dish deserves an 8.5. Worth the stop. The service is pleasant and fast. The price is fair.
11/10/2025: We visited Ristorante Fratelli Bottiglieri after a somewhat difficult afternoon reservation, given the high demand for tables in the area. Although we were a group of eight, we were immediately and honestly informed that they couldn't guarantee a single table, but rather two tables for four, which we accepted, separating the adults and children. ​We appreciated the formula that combines a standard menu with a selection of off-menu items, with prices communicated verbally by the waiter (This formula, while typical, I would suggest making it more transparent on paper as well). ​We had various choices: venison, an asado, a hamburger, and a carpaccio—for the adults. For the children, a steak with fries and a hamburger and fries sandwich. The dishes were undoubtedly "different and well-served," a testament to the quality of the ingredients and preparation. ​The waiter who looked after us was very friendly and kind, an aspect that contributed positively to the atmosphere. However, the service was a bit hit and miss: the burger and fries for one of the guys arrived late because the order had been "lost" or forgotten. If it hadn't been for this unexpected wait, I would have given it a higher rating. We paired our meal with a bottle of Perticaia, a good wine. The final bill was extremely reasonable: just €17 per person for eight people, a truly exceptional value considering the variety and quality of the meat served. With a little logistical improvement, this place would deserve top marks. I look forward to seeing you next time.

28/09/2025: A pleasant evening, you immediately feel like you're part of the family. Abundant dishes, meticulously prepared, local ingredients. The staff were courteous from the moment we arrived. I completely fell in love with the Sagrantino wine, a real highlight during dinner. Without a doubt, "Norcia at the table." We'll definitely be back.
23/09/2025: We were traveling in Norcia and were looking for something local, and we found it. Wonderful cuisine and wonderful service; we were very satisfied. 4 or 5 stars? Something in between because it's simply very nice and pleasant.
