We were staying for few days in this area and went to Pepe Verde 2 times, for lunch and dinner. The menu is quite wide, with a lot of options. I tried pasta and pizza, they were both delicious, as well as the fish and risotto my parents had ordered. The prices are great! It is worth to visit this local restaurant instead of trying the overpriced tourist spots in the city centre. You can feel like at home, the staff is kind and willing to help. 😊

A restaurant with the feel of a small canteen, boasting a very friendly atmosphere, a selection of tasty pizzas spread across a four-page menu, and absolutely delicious desserts. I was promised a taste of Italy on a plate, and Pepe Verde gladly sold me on it.

I was looking for a place to eat, and I noticed a lot of people coming in (from the surrounding offices or shops, or construction workers like plumbers or electricians) for their lunch break, which is always a good sign of: reasonable prices, excellent food (and a generous portion), quick service, and friendly service. And so it was.

Great little restaurant. I'm in Milano for work and was staying close by, I ended up eating here three times. Never a problem getting a table for one. The food was excellent. The service was fast. The menu was also in English for us silly Brits. The staff were great. Well worth a visit.

I loved this place. The staff is incredibly attentive, and the food is simple yet delicious. I tried a pizza and a tiramisu. Everything was very traditional and delicious. It's everything you could hope for from a simple place with excellent cuisine. Highly recommended.

04/01/2026: I visited on a trip from Japan! It was Sunday, January 4th, but I waited about 20-30 minutes before I could enter the restaurant. I had Milanese risotto and a lunch set with buckwheat pasta and a cutlet. It was delicious! The price for two people was 44 euros.
04/01/2026: I went with my daughter for lunch and we had a great time. The location was spectacular, and the risotto was even more spectacular. Thank you so much, I'll definitely be back.

16/02/2026: I really enjoyed this restaurant all around. Both the black cod croquettes and the swordfish pasta were excellent. The restaurant has a very nice open vibe.
